I wanted to love this coat. It's well-made, the materials are beautiful, and it fits well in all the right spots - except in the back. Specifically the butt. When I tie the belt around the coat, even loosely, the fabric gathers to create a bulky, puffy look in the back, and I can't do anything to smooth it down. I can see how the lining might contribute to this, but I do have thicker coats that don't have this issue. I don't want to worry about this every time I put on the coat, so I'm returning it (sadly).

So incredibly pleased with my purchase, the navy colour with the rose gold buttons look gorgeous - overall a super flattering and elegant trench coat whilst providing the perfect amount of warmth! Love that you can hide the hood too. Was worried it might be too long/short but it's the perfect length, although I would go for a size down. I usually wear small but after reading another review I decided to go for XS and it was perfect, plenty of space to layer up underneath if needed, even with all the padding. To top it all off it shipped really fast! Highly recommend.

For years, I was looking for a raincoat that looks a little cool and has a waist. I'm 5"4, size 4 and the small fit well - roomy but when belted, just roomy enough. The quality feels excellent. I love the more fitted, slightly peaked hood shape and the way the collar comes up high - key for keeping rain off the face. The material feels solid and the matte, rich colour is beautiful. I'll probably be wearing this in ten years!

I bought this in the forest green as the navy was out of stock. I've used it most days since I've purchased given the strange summer weather. It's incredibly waterproof, great quality, looks great (love the colour and utton detail) and the hood packs nicely into the collar. The trench is not warm and slightly windproof so will need extra layers in colder temperatures (I generally am more sensisitive to wind and cold than most). It also is not very breathable for hot summer showers but I bought it purely for its waterproofness - it'll probably be fine for breathability in cooler months.I am 160cm and bought the small. Perfect for my shoulders and it sits just above my knee which I like. The sleeves are a little long for me but I don't mind this. Just purchased this coat and I love it. I was looking for a warm spring rain coat for the cold and damp New England spring. This coat is perfect. I normally wear a size small and the small fit me perfectly with a little room for a sweater underneath. The arms were long enough which sometimes is not the case for size small jackets. I purchased the navy and received many compliments. I wore it out in the rain the other day and was perfectly dry.
Could not be happier! I've had my eye in this jacket for awhile and its worth every penny. I love the snap buttons and the zipper that goes all the way up. The hood stores easily in the collar. Its warm without being bulky. Then length is perfect even though I'm short. I bought a size smaller than usual after reading the reviews and it fits perfect but I dont wear alot of bulky sweaters or anything. If you want some room to layer up I'd go with your regular size.
This jacket is literally perfect for autumn or early spring weather if you live in a rainy and/or windy climate. I have been searching for a jacket with these features for years, and am SO ecstatic that I finally found one. It's lightly insulated, waterproof, has a large hood, and, on top of the technical features, still manages to look classy. The hood doesn't have a drawstring but it does snap closed to keep the wind from blowing it off.The downside is the sizing. I didn't subtract any stars for this because I was able to find a size that worked, but it's worth mentioning. As a previous reviewer noted, the shoulder fit seems to be a little tight relative to the rest of the jacket. I didn't subtract any stars for this because I was able to find a size that worked, but it's worth mentioning. As a previous reviewer noted, the shoulder fit seems to be a little tight relative to the rest of the jacket. In my case, I first ordered a small based on my measurements in the size chart, and found that while the shoulder fit was perfect, the rest of the jacket was awkwardly baggy. I ended up having to return it and size down. Now the shoulder fit is narrower than I would like, but the jacket fits everywhere else and is overall exactly what I was looking for, so it's not a dealbreaker. The fit of this jacket is relaxed, so you can easily layer. After downsizing, I tried out wearing sweaters and another light coat underneath and had no issues.--In case it helps others with sizing:I am 5'5", 130lbs, have a straight body shape, and my bust/waist/hip measurements are all in the "small" range on the sizing chart provided by HH. I downsized to an XS to get the correct fit for this jacket. I own another HH jacket in size small which fits correctly, but it's a fitted style versus relaxed and that may explain why a small was too baggy on me in this case.
Love this jacket from the gorgeous blue colour to the sophisticated style! No one will ever guess that you are wearing a functional raincoat either. I normally wear a size 12 -14 and the XL gives me enough room to wear chunky jumpers under to keep you extra warm.
Got the navy. Love the rose gold zippers and the perfect level of insulation. It fits right between seasons when it’s just still cold but also rainy. Love that it zips up the collar for warmth. Love it. I sized up for under layering and it looks great with or without. I also learned I like a trench sans belt buckle. I’ve always fussed with those and look, you can JUST TIE IT! Want it in black but I’ll have to wait a bit. But worth every penny this one. Nice job to the designers. I’m 5”7 and 155. Large fits sweaters under it and also lean without.
I’ve been looking for a classic trench coat for years but never saw one I truly liked.I saw this in the store a week ago, and absolutely fell in love with it! It first very well, it looks amazing (I feel even better wearing it!), and is great in snow/rain (as I’ve experienced it all since then). It isn’t too warm, but great if you put a thin jacket or vest underneath. The only downside is the hood folds into the collar (also a bonus), but it makes the collar rather puffy.I only saw the navy colour with rose gold accents, but it’s beautiful.
