I finally threw out my 10+ year old snow pants, and upgraded to these Helly Hansens for snowboarding this season! These are by far the best snow pants I've ever owned; they are warm, comfortable, stylish and the adjustable waistband is a lifesaver. Erik's had the fastest shipping and an amazing sale on these pants that I could not pass up. I absolutely recommend these snow pants for skiing/snowboarding, sledding, shoveling or anything else to stay active outdoors during the cold winter months. I can't wait to buy in more colors. I tried on many pairs of ski pants. These had a flattering butt because there aren't weird, too low pockets. Best fit for me, I'm larger in the waist, slimmer through the hips and these fit smoothly while others looked like diapers. The fabric is soft and the insulation isn't at all bulky. Love the stretch. I wear a 12/14 and XL is perfect and comfy.

These pants are everything I’ve been looking for. They fit very well in all the right places. Has enough stretch for movement and not too long that you have to roll. Beautiful navy blue colour making it the perfect sleek snow pant.

These were the most flattering of probably 12-15 tried on. Others looked like I was wearing diapers and had weird back pockets making me look droopy. These have smooth invisible, pockets, allow for my larger waist and are perfectly slim through the hips/thighs. LOVE. I do think I’m between a large and XL and wear a 12-14 pant or 32 Jean. The large was too small, have a touch of extra room in the XL with merino leggings.
I just wanted to at least review about the fit. I'm 5'10, 155 so length is difficult while also not being too large. I ordered the Medium hoping they'd be long enough and they just barely are, like a 32.5 or 33" inseam, I can see they'd be quite long on someone shorter. The fit through the thighs and waist is perfect. I'm a size 8 pants and these fit just perfect. I ordered the poppy color and they aren't as bright as the picture, definitely more of a muted coral. Almost a pumpkin color. I did order the Large as I wasn't sure which would fit and it was quite big, probably to fit a size 12 and a little longer.
Have not tested these out on the slopes yet, but hoping they live up to my 20yr old HH ski pants they are replacing. They seem like nice quality and are very lightweight and comfortable.I normally take size L (I am a size 12) but ordered both the L and XL to try on. The Large were quite snug and could not be worn with jogging pants underneath. I decided to keep the XL. Velcro straps on the waist band are good to cinch it to fit. Only problem is they are a bit long. The dark spruce colour is really nice.
I ordered these to replace a larger pair of Helly Hansen ski pants. They fit me great! They have a higher waist than a lot of other ski pants, so there is never any cold air or snow getting in the back of these pants. They're neither too baggy nor too tight, so you can easily fit a base layer underneath them. The zip vents on the insides of the thighs/knees are great for offloading extra heat. I've worn Helly Hansen pants in single digit conditions and stayed warm. Highly recommend!
When I first purchased this product, I bought my true size, Medium. All the reviews said size down, it tends to run large, even the description says it. I like a roomier fit, so I kept my true size. It barely fit one leg. So I recommend sizing up, maybe even way up on these.

The inside leg length was unusually written on the website, which tipped this for me, I am a 34" leg. I know HH is good quality from reputation over the years. I was fed up looking in shops, terrible designs. Legendary sounded good! I took the risk from them being sent from Belgium (I'm not an online shopper) and guess what - perfect! My shape exactly. Great weight fabric for this time of year. I'd decided to check out Scandinavian websites as they're taller people generally, my current extra heavyweight pants are SOS Swedish and brilliant from 30 years ago, a much lamented brand (not the same as current in the States). Anyway I'm thrilled with the Legendary HH :)
