To be quite frank I was extremely disappointed with the product. It doesn't do the job. There isn't enough suction. It is hard work on my back because I have to keep going over the same piece of carpet so many times. I had to resort to the ordinary hoover head and have the brushes down on it to get the hair up. Very hard work. The special pet head was worse than useless for the extra money. Hardly enough suction for the hard floor. Not much better than our old Dyson cylinder which we were replacing.

Me and my partner spent a while debating whether to get an original Henry or a Henry Pet, since we have heard nothing but good about the original but have two dogs that both shed a lot of fur, in the end we opted for the Pet, and I must say I am more than a little disappointed. Maybe the original would have been the way to go.I appreciate that the price is pretty good relative to other vacuum cleaners on the market, but the cleaning performance is surprisingly poor: Before hoovering around the house each week, I run my fingers over the carpet to get up the majority of the hair but after hoovering thoroughly (25 minutes in one medium sized room), there is still dust, debris and hair. Like I mentioned previously my two dogs shed considerably so maybe that has ... I have a dog that loses hair all the time. Hair every where. After using this vacuum cleaner I was really pleased. The first thing I vacuumed was my mattress. Then using the brush head cleaned all the walls of spider webs and any cob webs. The carpet looked and felt like it had been vacuumed. Great suction. Only problem is that the large head doesn't work well on the particular plush of my carpet. You can't push but pulling is ok. I have tried opening the shutter thing to regulate the suction but .... Works ok on the flatter carpet. Using the small head works perfectly. Fortunately I have a small flat so not a problem.

We recently had significant building work done, and noticed that all the various tradesman used a Henry, and spoke highly of them.So when my Dyson Pet died, l looked at a Henry Pet. There were so many good reviews, l decided to give him a try.I am SO glad l did!!This little chap is amazing!Not as heavy as he looks, he has an extra long cord (10 metres) super, adjustable suction, and performs equally as well (if not better) than his predecessor! I no longer have to empty the waste bag halfway through, due to his large capacity. He's a pretty sturdy little chap too!A fraction of the cost of his forerunner, Henry is amazing - and cute!No more over-rated, over-priced vaccums for me, l am a Henry convert!5 stars all the way!
I’ve had pricey animal Dysons and Sharks before but nothing beats my Henry Pet. Seriously good value, the 9L bag lasts and is so easy to change, suction is so powerful even picking up all my pet hair that the others just left. The attachments have been great for skirting boards and stairs and the house looks like new again. Really impressed- ps cord is really long and Henry is super light to carry up the stairs. I won’t go back to pricey other brands.
Love it! I’ve had Dyson’s all my life! With a dog who malts all year (and a lot) and two cats, one with long silky hair, my vacuum gets ALOT of use. And this one is MAGIC! I love using it as can see how much it’s vacuuming up because everything looks great!Can alter the suction (using slider on the handle/wand), as well as great tools on board Henry himself. Henry is light, I carry him up and down stairs no problem (I have three floors).Highly recommend! A bargain at this price!
I am a commercial contract cleaner. The hose pipe on the Henry vacuum has nearly killed me on a number of occasions. ( death by trip hazard).The electric cable entangled round my ankles has been a near death experience also. BUT, never will there be a better, more versatile vacuum cleaner. It does everything asked of it. I clean pubs, cafes and schools. I work with my partner who uses a Shark cordless vacuum, if he gets to an area which is really dirty, he will just say ‘bring in the Henry’. It does everything. 😍
We bought the 'Henry Pet' as opposed to the standard 'Henry' as it was on sale and represented better value for money. The item as as described, packaged well and was delivered next day. Everything seems to work very well so far, we do not have any pets. The 'Henry' is purely for home and DIY use.The only two criticisms are (A) Instruction book could explain things better, even to having a complete assembly guide and also repeated online in a short 30 second video. (B) You cannot connect the tools to the Aluminum/S/Steel extension tubes, ONLY to the Black Flexible hose. So should you need greater reach, you are limited in this area.The 'Henry' so far (only three uses) after DIY performs very well, it is not very loud and has very good suction performance.I ... After my last Henry gave up the ghost after many many years, I tried some of the contemporary vacuum cleaners including Dyson. They have all proved disappointing either in performance or practicality. I spent longer cleaning these devices to maintain optimum cleaning than I did actually vacuuming. With Henry it’s plugged in and away you go, no cleaning the filters or having to empty the all too small waste bin every time it’s used. Henrys offer maximum cleaning for minimal maintenance. Welcome home, Henry!
Only had my Henry pet hoover for a week(also my first Henry hoover) as my Vax hoover finally give up on me, so far so good.It is much quieter to use which is great as cat isn't terrified and it doesn't wake my son who works nights , so this now means I can hoover through the day again, rather than waiting for him to go to work.It seems to pick up whatever it comes across, could see foot prints in my bedroom carpet after I hoovered it as it refreshed the pile so well (not an expensive carept either ) but made it look good again.Attachments the ones I have used have been good, hopefully if it stays the same I will be very happy with my new hoover.
