I have been using this shampoo for about a week now and I am very impressed. I had to wait a while before I could use it as I have a tree nut allergy and anything with argan oil in, I do a patch test first. I normally use shampoo for fine hair as products can weigh down my hair really quickly. This shampoo however works really well and teamed with the conditioner leaves my hair soft and bouncy. The smell is lovely, lasts all day but is not overpowering. My hair feels clean all day and the shampoo is suitable for those who wash their hair every day. I will definitely be buying again when I run out. Brilliant!

Firstly this conditioner is amazing I was hesitant to try but I’m sooo happy that I did, I paired this with their golden moringa oil shampoo (orange bottle) which indicates that it’s 90% natural origin with 0% silicon/parabens. The reason for me pairing different shampoo and conditioner and not using the same is because I wanted to get as much natural oils on my hair to replenish my hair during my time at home due to COVID-19 and my excess hair fallout I’ve been experiencing. After using this combination for the past two months my hair fallout has been significantly reduced very very little. This helps my hair during and after each wash feel so soft, clean until my next wash. I should also note that it helps reduce the amount of tangles my hair usually has. I am really loving this duo right now and will definitely repurchase again as I like to switch up the products I use on my hair every few months. Definitely give it a try.

This is my favorite conditioner (and matching shampoo) ever! I was thrilled by the sheer lovely scent of another Herbal Essences: Botanicals shampoo that I decided to try this one, of the same line-- and I'm so glad I did! No other shampoo/conditioner leaves my hair as beautifully soft and shiny as this one does. Plus, it smells fantastic. The ends of my hair are bleached and dyed, and this shampoo/conditioner duo makes my ends feel so soft, hydrated, and healthy like they are virgin hair, never having been bleached. It's incredible. Even better is the price is not extravagant like you would get from a salon/professional quality shampoo/conditioner, and you can find this product at a regular grocery store! I highly, highly, highly recommend this shampoo AND the ... MoreThis is my favorite conditioner (and matching shampoo) ever! The smell of this product is AMAZING!! I always receive compliments on how good my hair smells and I won’t even be right up on a person either. It’s like the smell just drifts through the air into there nose when I walk by lol. I also have mixed children and I have tried soooo many different products on there hair to help with frizz, dryness moisture. This is one of the products I use on there’s as well. I love the fact that it’s affordable the bottle is big! I shampoo there hair 2x a week with this brand of shampoo but I condition it every day. I also have some of this in a squirt bottle with some water and when I style there hair I spray this mixture into there hair and it makes for a great leave in conditioner as well!
I received a sample sachet of Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Treatment. OK, yet another conditioner to try. So I gave it a go. It smells pleasant with a bit of a tropical scent. I used the product as per the instructions, found it easy to apply and rinse out. Afterwards I combed through my damp hair, styled it and let it dry naturally as I would normally do. Once dry I noticed a new softness and shine to my hair - this was after using the product for the first time. I saw and felt a noticeable improvement in the condition of my hair and will definitely be buying this product again!
This Herbal Essences with bio:renew Argan Oil of Morocco Repair Conditioner just worked okay for me. I appreciate the beauty of the bottle design, but it's too dark to see inside to ascertain when you are running low on product. This bottle is also hard to hold as it's very slippery when wet or when you have conditioner on your hands. I knew this was going to be a hard sell as I use another brands conditioner that I absolutely love and it's a pump brand that dispenses out in a luxurious foam. The other brand also leaves my hair totally tangle free - I can run my fingers through it easily and a wide toothed comb is a breeze. The Herbal Essences brand did not leave my hair with that same ease of combing through. The other brand also leaves my hair totally tangle free - I can run my fingers through it easily and a wide toothed comb is a breeze. The Herbal Essences brand did not leave my hair with that same ease of combing through. I definitely couldn't comb through it with my fingers, but a comb was somewhat more manageable. The Herbal Essences brand does have a delicate fragrance that I found to be very pleasing. However, I couldn't smell it on my hair once I styled it. I have been using this product for several weeks now and I will say that it rinses clean out of my hair and it doesn't appear to leave a build up. My hair is soft, but not noticeably softer than when I use any other brand. I like that I can rinse it out fairly easily without excess rinsing or wasting time. I like that this product is free of parabens, gluten and colorants, but I dislike the inclusion of sulfates. I think the added sulfates is contributing to my hair feeling a bit dry after conditioning. Thus, making it difficult to be a "repairing" conditioner as the sulfates are drying it out. I will say that I appreciate the 9 formulas of the Herbal Essences bio:renew brand as it allows one to find the specific formula for their hair concerns (ex: smooth repair, hydrate, moisturize) vs. just shampoo for all hair types.I love the Herbal Essences brand, but I think I'll pass on this conditioner and go back to my preferred brand as it combs through easier, doesn't contain sulfates, and dispense out in a foam pump that I don't have to pick up with slippery/soapy hands.
Okay, first I would like to say that I usually follow something called, “The Curly Girl Method” (This is a method that helps hair retain more moisture and reduce frizz because curly hair is inherently dry) since I have curly and usually frizzy hair. I’m going to write this review in such a way that it provides pertinent information for both those who follow the CGM and those who don’t. First, my review for those who don’t follow this method: I would have to say that I’d give this conditioner a 4 out of 5 stars...but only when comparing it to other products in its price range. You really can’t compare this product to a salon quality product which costs three or four times as much. With that in mind I found the smell of the product to pretty nice and not very strong. ... MoreOkay, first I would like to say that I usually follow something called, “The Curly Girl Method” (This is a method that helps hair retain more moisture and reduce frizz because curly hair is inherently dry) since I have curly and usually frizzy hair. I feel like the conditioner did a good job of coating my hair so that there was a lot of slip and silkiness but it didn’t feel very moisturizing at the same time. Once my hair was dry, (I air dried it) it had a lot of bounce and volume which is somewhat unusual for my hair. I was expecting to have quite a bit of frizz since this is usually the case with my hair but I found, to my surprise, that there really wasn’t that much frizz at all. Overall I felt like this was a pretty good product for the price point. Would I use this product continually? Probably not since curly hair needs a lot of moisture and I felt this product lacked that. But for those with straight hair I think this could be a real contender when comparing it to liked priced items. Now for those who follow the CGM I have included pictures of the ingredient lists in case you would like to look at them for yourselves. Both the shampoo and conditioner in this line contain amounts of argan oil, aloe and sea kelp. The conditioner has a water insoluble silicone (bis-aminoprophyl dimethicone) in it which some curly haired curls actually like so you will have to decide what is right for you with that one. These products clearly are not CGM friendly so be advised of that if you follow this method. If you have curly hair and you don’t follow this method then you could probably give this product a try and see for yourself if you like it. Just keep in mind it is not very moisturizing but it does have some benefits when it comes to frizz. My review is for the “Repair Argan Oil of Morocco” version so maybe the “Hydrate Coconut Milk” version would give you the benefits of more moisture along with the anti-frizz properties. In conclusion I would like to note that the product I reviewed contains zero parabens, gluten and colorants. I also received this product from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review.
We have tried out the 3 types of new Herbal Essences ( Argan Oil of Morocco, White Strawberry & Sweet Mint and lastly the Cucumber & Green Tea ) shampoo and conditioner religiously for the past 3 weeks, down to the very last drop and here is what we think. Below feedback are collated from all my friends and family who have had a chance to try it out before they buy. Majority of us love the Argan oil - as it targets the most outer layer of the hair follicle and the oil is proven to make hair softer, silkier and shinier. We did a researched and we found that it can help to treat split ends and minimising frizzy hair and that's a bonus as most of us are facing the similar problems due to constantly used of hairdryer. We did a researched and we found that it can help to treat split ends and minimising frizzy hair and that's a bonus as most of us are facing the similar problems due to constantly used of hairdryer. Before we tried the Argan Oil, we were worried that our hair will be heavy and greasy after using it, in fact it was the opposite. The Cucumber and green tea - We are not sure what's the advantages of it towards our hair & scalp and but we do know that cucumber contain lots of vitamin A even thought it claims that Cucumber can promote hair growth not that most of us needed. And when drinking green tea, its supposedly helps to cleanse our internal organs. Nevertheless we love the scent of both ingredients. Most of us don't rate much with regards to White Strawberry & Sweet Mint as we agreed in unison that it was too sweet smell to our liking. The only criticism we have is that the shampoo conditioner did not possess the usual floral scents but reminded us of strawberry ice cream. There is definitely room for improvement in the fragrance department. All the conditioner was thick in consistency but never weighed our hair down. We can feel the weightless and nourishing benefits we get from using the conditioner.
My hair can be difficult. I have coarse hair that tends to stick out in every which direction, is prone to staying super frizzy and wiry, and humidity is it's worst enemy. Usually it's tamed only by pulling it back in a pony tail or messy bun. I've learned a few things that my hair does like though, one of which is way more conditioner than shampoo. So, since I've gotten the bio:renew Argan Oil Morocco Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, I'll wash and condition it one time, and the next, just conditioner. I really like the smell, and the conditioner left my hair feeling sleek and 'together' after rinsing it out. I really like the smell, and the conditioner left my hair feeling sleek and 'together' after rinsing it out. After the first wash and condition, my hair dried less frizzy, but as soon as a brush got near it, it was back to it's usual medusa attitude. Second time I used just the conditioner, and things didn't seem much different. I've now washed/conditioned it once more, and last night only conditioned it, and I'm starting to see some more lasting results. My hair dries un-frizzy with beautiful waves and curls, and with just using a wide toothed comb it's starting to stay like that for longer it seems. It's more silky to the touch, even dry, and it seems to slowly be re-hydrating. Because my hair is so coarse, just running a brush through it causes breakage and damage towards the ends of my hair, but this seems to be smoothing it out a little at a time. I want to give it at least a month of one wash to two conditions and see how things go then... and maybe get a trim soon too... but so far I'm really liking the results I'm getting from this one. I only have one gripe about this duo... I have mixed feelings about sodium lauryl sulfate as an ingredient. I know it's widely used, but it tends to break my skin out sometimes, and can be drying and harsh (Maybe I just have overly sensitive skin though... and I have not had ANY problems there with this shampoo or conditioner, to be clear). To me, Herbal Essence has always been a product that seems to highlight their use of, well... 'herbals', so to speak, and now botanicals, which to me point to more natural ingredients. I would love to see a line of hair care from Herbal Essence that works like this one does, but with more naturals, and less synthetic ingredients.
Herbal Essences Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner isn't life changing. It isn't fantastic, it is just conditioner, and I didn't really like it. Here's why: It is full of stearyl alcohol, dimethicone, and cetyl alcohol, and benzyl alcohol. All of these products are amazing at creating soft, coated, touchable hair but they also cause my skin to react in huge cystic acne breakouts on my scalp, neck, and back. Not every person will have this reaction but they are still ingredients to be aware of. I also found this conditioner to just be middle of the road when it came to actual conditioning. I prefer a more heavy conditioner and this one felt a bit too light for my needs. Two weeks in, I haven't noticed any repairing action going on either. I prefer a more heavy conditioner and this one felt a bit too light for my needs. Two weeks in, I haven't noticed any repairing action going on either. Just like the coordinating shampoo, I love the packaging. The jewel toned teal with metallic copper is an amazing choice. I am really happy that shampoo companies are starting to realize that not all women have pastel bathrooms or not all women like pastels in their bathrooms. This is a really fun unisex bottle that would look great and would definitely cause a stranger using your bathroom to say, "what the heck is that neat blue bottle! My only complaint is that the bottle is completely opaque. Most conditioner bottles are; however, if it was just the slightest bit transparent I would be able to see when it was time to purchase a new bottle instead of running out. The think I like the least about Herbal Essences Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner is the scent. I expected it to smell just like the shampoo, which I liked. This is where I was wrong. It smells similar, as in the same fragrance family with similar notes. There is definitely the idea of vanilla and spice, just not in the best way. The conditioner smells like straight up dollar store incense sticks. Not the good kind of incense, but the bad kind. I can't stand it while it's on my head in the shower. It smells terrible and the scent is way stronger than the shampoo. The good news is that once your rinse it off, it blends with the shampoo and it is quite pleasant!
