So I used to use this conditioner way back in the day and I always liked it. It’s been a few years though and it’s taken me a long time to being myself to write this review. So I initially had written a very nice review of the Hello Hydration shampoo and hadn’t gotten around to this conditioner yet. I previously had salon-colored red hair and had already stopped coloring it just before shutdowns/lockdowns due to minor dry scalp that had developed after years of trips to the salon. So for the early part of the pandemic, I was trying to get my hair in recovery mode and it was going well for a time. Three weeks after my initially-nice review for the shampoo, BAM! Seborrheic dermatitis to the point that my scalp was bleeding. It was embarrassing and awful. At this point i was already halfway through these bottles. I didn’t think it was the shampoo and conditioner at first, but I wasn’t using other hair products so I switched back to Garnier Pure Clean (which I had stopped purchasing due to it containing palm oil and the environmental destruction associated with that industry). The flaking and bleeding started healing. So I switched back to the Herbal Essences products “just to see”, and the dermatitis came back with a vengeance. So I finished the shampoo as a body wash and the conditioner as a shave cream, which somehow didn’t cause any adverse reactions on my body. So I will never be purchasing products from Herbal Essences again because I am too afraid of repeating the damage to my hair and scalp, which sucks because I used to really like these products and I like how affordable they are. Obviously I don’t recommend them either. Moral of the story: DON’T FORCE YOURSELF TO USE PRODUCTS THAT DON’T WORK FOR YOU!

I AM CHANGING MY REVIEW!!So after the 3rd time of using this shampoo I began to realize that not only do I have this weird red raised spot on my forehead I also have red blotches, scabbing and severe raw/itchy/burning sensation ALL over my scalp! So, I go read the ingredients on the bottle...THIS PRODUCT DOES CONTAIN SLS! THIS IS NOT A "CLEAN" SHAMPOO! No, it doesn't contain mineral oil BUT it DOES contain EVERYTHING else! My scalp is in massive pain and my hair seems sooooo thin now! I am awaiting an ALL NATURAL ORGANIC shampoo to arrive in a day or 2 in the mean time I am returning this product! Better than highend products

I have been rediscovering some old shampoos and conditioners I loved from back in the day. I seriously forgot how amazing this shampoo and conditioner is. I have been using high-end shampoo for over 3 years, and it's been drying my hair out. This conditioner and shampoo saved my hair!!! I have wavy/curly low porosity hair as soon as I washed my hair with this and used the matching conditioner. My hair melted like butter and became so soft that my hair had been so dry. This did better than my high-end conditioners, along with the shampoo. I could run my fingers through my hair it's amazing and smells amazing. I'm not going back to my high-end stuff. This stuff is better and way cheaper.

Great all-around conditioner

Really enjoying this Smooth Rose Hips Conditioner from Herbal Essences. The smell is lovely! Some of the flower scents are pretty hit or miss, they can be overly floral or perfume-y, but this one is really nice. It's rose-y and bright and nicely balanced. The conditioner also works well. It's certainly not a deep conditioner, but it conditions effectively for normal washing. I have fine hair and this conditioner isn't too heavy for it. It has a light, smooth texture as you use it and my hair afterward wasn't weighed down but looked and felt smooth and healthy. I also love that Herbal Essences is cruelty free and has high standards for ingredients, so you don't have to be concerned about anything in the formulation that you're putting on your body.

Helps straighten my hair

Herbal Essences has a fantastic variety of hair products but this was my first time trying this in their Revitalisant line. This has a perfect paired scent of rose and apple which smells so good. It is a lightly fresh scent and one I never expected to be together but it really is nice together. I always lean to herbal blends infused because they are the most natural and smell like I am actually there breathing in the nature. This conditioner targets my problem areas of frizz and dry ends. I've always been a huge fan of Herbal Essence®️ and this Smooth Rose Hips Conditioner is no exception! It's fantastic! It leaves my hair completely moisturized and as soft as pure silk. And I can't get over how much healthier and shinier it has made my hair look - and in just a couple of weeks of daily use. Long-lasting Scent

Herbal Essences - Smooth Rose Hips Conditioner is a good product overall. One of the best things to me about it is the long lasting scent. Even after 2 days my hair still smells really good. The scent is pleasant and uplifting. As far as smoothing and conditioning, the product is pretty good, but not the best. I think it did just so-so at smoothing my hair and also it does not detangle my hair as well as other conditioners. I have very heavy, semi-thick hair and when I comb it out after using the conditioner I am still running into snags and experiencing breakage. However, the conditioner does leave my hair very soft and shiny which I like quite well. And it does not leave my hair feeling weighed down like some other brands. Love the smell great hydration

For reference, my hair is delicate, thin, 3c/b curly and long. I swapped out of glycerin products after moving into a humid city when I noticed my routine stopped working. Other conditioners were making my hair very frizzy. This didn't and the smell for me was a huge pick me up. The other products I use to "manage" my hair have unpleasant smells. This was such a welcomed change I bought the shampoo. I'm yet to try the combination but at least the conditioner has been a great addition to my hair's health. I honestly just wish HE came up with more products caring this scent!

I should have paid a lot more attention since I was buying something online, but I did not, so when I unpacked my bags I was quite ticked off. I saw that the original price was $7.97 and was marked down to under $2.00. My daughter absolutely loves this shampoo and conditioner so I thought I would buy her some while it was on clearance since it is usually so expensive and I would surprise her. Well I was the one who got surprised when I opened the sack and received travel sized bottles instead of the big sized bottles I was expecting. WHO in the world would pay $8.00 for a travel size bottle of shampoo? There better be gold in that bottle if I'm going to pay that much.
