I looked at several before I found this one. I am a short 5'3 girl that uses a computer chair with adjustment for my comfort level. I felt that the adjustment needed to be the same for my piano bench, the quality of the bench was also very important as well. I was right. I love this bench. It is sturdy, comfortable, and easy to adjust. Great product. Well worth the money spent. Thanks T Dodd

Initially I thought this was a great seat, but after using it for a while I had to return it. The foam used for the seat is very hard and dense and that would be fine. The problem is that after a few minutes you sink in a little and you become wedged in the "bowl" that your bottom makes. The hard foam makes it difficult to make any movement on the seat, you're sort of wedged in there.I've read other reviews and other people seem to like the seat, but for me it didn't work.

This is a very nice stool/bench. The build quality is excellent. The cushion is very firm. I don't mind this, but if you're looking for something plush, this probably isn't the best option for you. The nice thing about this stool is that the knob makes it nearly infinitely adjustable. If you are really picky about having the perfect height, this is your stool. If you aren't, there are much cheaper options out there that are of similar or only slightly worse quality. I deducted 1 star because of the price and the fact that the controls are a little clunkier than I would expect for this price. In general, though, I'm perfectly content with it and would buy it again.

The main reason I got this was because most x frame keyboard stands and seats have adjustment levels that may not match. Which means that the keyboard can be too high or two low relative to the seat. This seat allows you to fine tune the seat height. And the knob adjusts the seat at least 4 inches, which is enough to bridge the gap between the large adjustment settings. The added bonus was that the seat was VERY comfortable. The foam underneath feels like a memory foam. So the comfort level is better than my old bench.

New to playing a keyboard. I wanted a bench that would not rock around but could also work for me 6'2" and my wife 5'3". It is very comfortable and versatile. The fine adjustment is extremely useful and smooth to operate. This is quite a bit more money than other benches but what a difference!. Spend the money and only have to buy once.
It's all about the foam: it's super firm. I thought it was too hard at first, but it breaks in a bit as you use it, and becomes perfect. Every other bench is too soft; eventually you squish through the foam and are basically sitting on the wood beneath.The fabric also looks and feels better than other benches. I don't have much use for the fine adjustment feature, but it's nice that it's there. This bench is sturdy, and the firm padding will probably take much longer to wear down (if it ever does) than the soft stuff found on other benches.
This is a great bench. Lots of adjustability including the left front foot. Out of the box it sets right up. The seat fusion is very firm but feels solid.
well made, great adjustment options - a plus with beginner students who grow up quickly can benefit from fine realignment. con - doesn't take very much to tip sideways, especially for a smaller student shifting on the bench (saw it happen more than once).
Just got the bench (faster than expected cross-country!) I play jazz in clubs and It replaces my well-worn but decidedly inferior Quik-Lok bench.Pros:Very well madeDense, firm, large foam seat that gives lots of supportvery studyand last and most important, infinitely adjustable height for optimum performance.Cons: None
