Hermes Twilly D'hermes Eau De Parfum Women Spray, Tester - 2.8 fl oz bottle

Twilly d’Hermès by Hermès is a Floral fragrance for women. Twilly d’Hermès was launched in 2017. Top notes are Ginger, Bitter Orange and Bergamot; middle notes are Tuberose, Orange Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are Sandalwood and Vanilla. I recently received a sample of it with some other purchases I did at my local Hermes store. Unfortunately I personally do not like this particular Hermes perfume. I believe it’s an ok perfume for women of an older age and/or style. Due to the packaging i expected it to be fresh and youthful but for some reason it remind me of a “grandmother”. For me it’s a pass.

This was yet another sample that turned into a full purchase for me. It is definitely a tuberose dominant fragrance, but it’s not that same grapey/bubblegum scent like L’Interdit or My Way. The ginger/citrus gives this a nice, warm spicy vibe that works well with the tuberose. It dries down into a sandalwood/vanilla but maintains the warm spicy floral. On me, this scent is beast mode - 1-2 sprays are enough. The opening can be strong so I like to spray this ahead of time to give it a chance to evolve. Honestly - I love it, but I have to be in the mood for it. Definitely not an office scent lol. Tip: layer this with Sol De Janerio Bum Bum Cream (but apply sparingly). This combo gets me so many compliments - both men and women have followed me to ask what I’m wearing.

I love Hermes fragrances! They are never ordinary and always have some - spice - in them. Men cologne Terre d’Hermes is in my opinion so iconic and I can always recognize it even if the person is two blocks and corners away. I think this is somewhat the female version. I love flower fragrances but they can get pretty repetitive or boring. Twilly has the typical Hermes signature smell, it is the sandalwood in it which gives me the hint of leather (obviously since it is Hermes). This is great for every season. Probably the only flower fragrance I know I enjoy wearing in the winter too. I think this will suit any age and any lifestyle or event. Shopping or date, this will makes you smell and feel expensive without being too much. Very well done!

LOVE the perfume bottle. This perfume is more of a powdery scent, not really fruity nor floral, however, when it dries down it gives off more of a sweet candy smell (still with a powdery undertone present.) the scent is VERY STRONG, so if you are the type of person who gets lightheaded with strong aromas, I would recommend to apply very small amounts. a little goes a long way. the bottle is very beautiful. longevity is definitely there, will last ALL DAY!!! I bought this scent blind and if I am being honest, at the beginning I was not the biggest fan, I would have rated it a 7/10, but after some time I got used to the distinct scent and grown to like it. compliments it. I recommend this scent to anyone who loves sweet and feminine fragrances.

Twilly is very versatile and playful in my opinion. It can easily be an everyday joyful, fun, happy scent. A warm floral, a fresh , fruity gingery tuberose that smells warm and inviting and very fresh. Upon first spray it opens with a vibratant sginger and tuberose, and then after 5-10 minute dry down, it’s completely addictive! While drying down I feel the tuberose turns into a creamy warm slightly soapy fresh scent that turns very soft . Throughout the day I catch fresh whiffs not knowing if that is Twilly or fresh laundry or someone else around me that smells clean and fresh. I believe the ginger paired with the tuberose is very peppy and clean but soft and warm. I just love it. A warm, lovely fragrance

I am extremely picky with perfume, most feel too floral, too strong, or too ‘old lady’ for me… but Twilly is perfect. It’s warm and comforting, it makes me feel happy when I put it on. It lasts well but is never overpowering. I looked up the notes online and it looks like a few of them are tuberose, orange blossom, sandalwood and vanilla. Just such a calm, comforting fragrance while also being rich and sophisticated. I’m puzzled why some other reviewers said it was very floral, this is not how it smells to me at all. It has been my go-to everyday fragrance for years and I realized it was high time I left a review! (And I just noticed Hermes has some other variations, can’t wait to try those as well!) An absolutely beautiful fragrance.

Beautiful, soapy , spicy, fresh . Love it

I really like this perfume . It’s definitely not something I would normally go for . Honestly, it smells fresh and clean , really really reminds me of the Irish spring soap ( possibly the blue one but maybe the green not sure) and tuberose and musk the ginger adds a little spiciness . I mostly get the soap smell . I don’t get powder at all . I had a sample I finally tried and then it grew on me and I bought a bottle . Great performance, it’s a little strong , I prefer strong. A little goes a long ways and it stays for hours . I’m very pleased with this one and I am curious about the other twilly / Hermes scents now

So, so bad

I don't know why so many people love this. For about half a second you think it might smell okay, because the first note that hits you is a pleasant floral. But then, bam! The lychee smacks you in the face. It feels like somebody slapped me with a tropical flavored airhead candy or something. So overpowering and sickly fruity. The only 2 good things - one, it does last. Six hours in and I can still smell it on my forearm. Two - once it fully dries down and the lychee and the floral fades, it smells kind of nice. Whatever powdery musk is at the bottom is pleasant. But the first 4 to 5 hours or so I hated it. Definitely not worth it. There are some fragrances that I think smell nice, but just don't suit my personality or body chemistry and would smell great on ... MoreI don't know why so many people love this. I don’t get why twilly got any bad reviews - people that tried it who said that it smelled terrible may have something wrong with their olfactory sense. When it first came out, it was billed as a young fresh scent and it is absolutely heavenly. I’ve had many many compliments wearing it. It does not smell like a grandma or give anyone a headache. At work or out and about I have always had people ask me what perfume I am wearing and where they can purchase it. This is my go to signature sent and I am not an old lady lol. A little bit goes a long way and it’s one of Hermes best inventions. I’ve even had students in my class tell me how they love coming into my room because I smell so good.
