Bought this for vacation travel, airplane travel. I adore this. I got it I. White (but it's not bright white) and loved it the minute I saw it. Very well made and easy to get into and zip back up. Holds quite a bit but not too heavy. Great for airplane travel if you have an IPAD, phone, smaller purse to tuck in, book, and all your other incidentals. And there's still room for a bottle of water and snacks! There are two pockets on either side and a small zip pocket on the front. Inside has a pocket for IPAD or Laptop. My fav part is the handle straps on top that makes it easy to carry if you're not putting it on your back. It was a carry on on airplanes and float planes and it doesn't look like it was used. I purchased Classic Backpack Mid-VolumeWarp Butterflies and 6 weeks after using it super gently got discoloured and holes anywhere it folds. I made the claim and they said wears and tears are out of warranty! Yes! wears and tears after some weeks itâs really odd.It is not my first time purchasing backpack from this brand. First one is still in great condition after daily usage but what the waste of money for new pair! Not very good customer service . I would expect you review each claim to see if customer has right to complain about wears and tears!!

The Nova Mini backpack is a must have for ALL women!!! It's even a better use if you have children like me. The kids tend to make me hold their things and all they do is just unzip and toss it in the Nova Mini backpack. Its SO useful! It's not big and it's not small. So far itâs working well. The laptop sleeve fits my laptop, the outside pocket is spacious, and Iâve been using one water bottle holder as an additional pocket and one for my water bottle. I am sad about the lack of additional inside pockets but there is still plenty of space. The zipper is a little sharp so be carefulâ Iâve cut the fragile skin of my finger a few times already.
I wore a tote bag for a long day at the zoo , by the end my shoulder was hurting, I had to keep switching sides or hold it by hand for a while to give my shoulder break . I wanted a small backpack . This is a great size fits more than you think . I can fit what I need and a 32oz water bottle . I can be hands free and easier to carry compared to a tote bag . O do have to agree with other reviewers, you need to be careful because the zipper can scratch your hand
I received this backpack as a gift and love the simplicity / clean look of the bag! It's great to use everyday, I typically will use it when running errands around the city or even sometimes if I need a bag for the gym. It's not too big, which is nice if you don't want something with a lot of extra weight or bulk. The front pocket is my favourite when I want to put my keys or wallet for easy access. The laptop sleeve is always a nice bonus too!
I wanted to love this bag. The mid holds a decent amount and the style doesnât give off school vibes. Unfortunately the front handle began to fray. I tried to make a warranty claim, but itwas denied by Herschel, so I exchanged it at the major department store I originally purchased from. About a month later the new bag began to fray in the exact same spot. I know it wasnât me, because I took extra care with it. Overall it has been a very disappointing experience, especially with Herschel as they deny warranty claims for obvious factory defects. Their guarantee is a joke.
Iâve been using this for 2 months for commuting to/from work & it's fantastic. I am able to fit my laptop along with my iPad (2 iPads when needed). Easily fits the rest of my daily essentials as well and is a comfortable carry with it on my back. To be honest, what triggered the purchase was I saw 'The Beauty Of Summer' pattern & loved it. So happy that grabbed my attention because this bag has been a game changer for me. No more struggling to get everything into the office. As always, very pleased with your products!
Love this backpack! I bought it for a weeklong trip to Denver and it was perfect. The side pockets are deep, so I could fit a water bottle on one side and sunglasses, sunscreen, mask and more on the other side for easy access. Material is thick and durable (in typical Herschel fashion). Inner sleeve perfectly fits my 13" Macbook as well, and there was still plenty of room for a sweater, snacks, book and more inside. My only complaint is the same as others - the zipper does not move smoothly. In retrospect I actually have come to like that - it makes it feel more secure and not like someone could open and close this zipper discreetly without me feeling/knowing. But it is worth nothing since the zipper requires some focus to open.
The style is different from the old one. This has way thinner straps now like the crossbody. It doesnât embody the âbackpackâ mini version anymore since it doesnât look like the medium and large size of this. The strap made a huge difference as to how it look, feel, and wear. Other stores still carry the older version. Such as Nordstrom, Nordstrom rack, tillys, etc. just have to find it.
