A really comfortable boot that doesn't have any animal products in it. I've been wearing this style of boot for many years now, doing over 20,000 steps per day at least 3 days
per week. Excellent boots, 😁👍.

Comfortable wide fit hiking boot at a reasonable price. Sturdy yet flexible with good grip for rugged terrain. I have purchased a few pairs now and can't find anything else to
compare.

I've had two pairs of these, the first pair wore out in about 2 years with somewhat frequent use, the second pair I wore almost daily and they barely made it 1 year. Both pairs
wore out in the exact same way - the inner part of the front tears away from the sole, meaning that sticks and rocks get caught in there a lot, and they're definitely no longer
waterproof. They're very comfortable while they're still held together, but if you're wanting to get good mileage out of your shoes, I wouldn't recommend.

Excellent general comfort, but risk of sore feet
10 January 2023
The wide opening tongue is fantastic to make it easy to get these boots on and off. However, I found that the balls of both feet got very sore after about 10-12 km into my first long walk. This may have been due to the fact that I hadn't tightened the laces enough to stop movement of my foot in that area, or more likely due to the construction of the soles of the boot and the liners. Tightening the laces helped, but then I bought some gel insoles after I finished that walk, which I have never had to do before, to make sure that I didn't have the problem again. The general fit and comfort of the boots is fantastic, and the soles are grippy enough for rock-hopping. I've only walked about 50 km in them so far, so it is early days to give a full assessment.... Far from waterproof, poor quality control.

I bought these 2 months ago, used 2-3 times a week to walk the dogs in wet weather or on wet grass & Hiking once or twice a month.Waterproofing failed after 1 week. These are water resistant at best. Waterproofing spray helps but these will never be a proper hiking boot & can't deal with more than 2-3cm of water as that is the lowest part of the sole cup.I will be going back to Kathmandu for my next pair.... Iima sports boots are the best
18 October 2022
This is the 3rd pair of these boots they are great. If I could take this opportunity to voice a problem that I encountered.I foolishly assumed that the scale for sizes provided would have been in the country that we live in not the U.S.as a consequence I know have boots that are to small for me.I live some 300kms from the ACT and to change the boots I need to bring them into the store. It seems to me that there should be some provision for " out of towners" to send them back even if we need to cover the postage ourselves. Having said that it does not detract from the fact that ANACONDA is terrific for price and products.Cheers, David... Show more

Moderate performance

I had this recently and tried them for a long hike which got totally disappointed with its performance. Might be good for short walks, but uncomfortable for longer and challenging ones. Do not recommend this product. It is not worth the price.... Show more

Overall good boots

I've worn these in terrain from rocky, to wet, and even snow! All though my socks have ended up a little damp at times, my mate who was wearing other boots had drenched socks every time! So overall you can't go wrong with these... Show more

Waterproofing Fail Lima Hi-Tec Men's Lima Sport II
17 October 2022
Purchashed about 3 years ago from Anaconda, I was happy with these boots until a wet weather walk and my feet were absolutely saturated. Looking closely at the boots i discovered cracks had developed in both boots where the sidewall meets the sole letting water pour in. I approached Hi-TECH Australia ( DENSTOCK AUSTRALIA) and they said not covered under their "Fair wear and Tear" policy. These boots were used sparingly and have a lot of life in them yet so I am very unhappy they are splitting and no longer waterproof after such little use. My wife bought North Face boots at the same time which have done exactly the same amount of walking with no issues. I can only conclude these boots are not well made.... Show more
