Hikari Cichlid Gold, Medium, 250 G

Our cichlids love these pellets. We feed these pellets to them every couple of days just to help round out their diet alongside the new life spectrum pellets. The fish all look healthy and vibrant and are continually active.

Love this stuff. It’s not to expensive, especially when PetSmart price matches their online price or chewy.com. Great size and my 6yo Oscar doesn’t have an issue. Doesn’t cloud up the water and the left overs my 8yo eclipse catfish will eat. This food has really brought the colors out in my Oscar and will continue to buy this product.

Best pellets for South American Cichlids

I been using this food since 1984 to feed my S. American Cichlids as a staple 6 times a week. Frozen or freezed dried once a week. My fish grow fast and color up nice with Hikari Cichlid Gold. If you want your fish thick, colorful and healthy feed them this food. I tried all the other brands and my fish like tis better than NLS or Northfish.

This name brand of fish food is all I will use for my 3 tanks of various types. Baby pellets are great for newborn and juvenile sizes of cichlids. I highly recommend it for health and color benefits.

High Quality Pellets That My Fish Love!

Thanks Petco! My large cichlids love these large pellets. I have an Arowana that knows exactly when I get the bag out and she is eager to snatch them up. Frontosa are the same. I found Petco has the best price and I’ve ordered them to be delivered every few weeks. Saves me time and travel. High quality food to help provide a varied diet. Good for most cichlids, but would recommend the larger pellets for larger/adult cichlids like oscars

Hikari fish food for Oscar fish

This is very good quality food for my fully grown Oscar, it is the only food I would buy for my Oscar. My oscar is now 3 years old and has always been fed HIKARI fish food, she was only about 1 cm big when I bought her, she is now 15 cms and is fully grown, I highly recommend this fish food for Oscars.

Quality fish food

I only feed my fully grown angelfish this food as I trust this brand & know my fish will love it. It floats for quite awhile so your fish can get it & it makes it much easier to remove any excess remaining, so you don't have to go digging for it. It doesn't cloud your water & my 11" pleco love having a go at it as well.
