Breuss Kidney Tea Mix (Contains Horsetail herb, Stinging nettle herb, Knotgrass herb and St. John’s wort herb) is a special blend of herbs developed by health enthusiast and author Rudolf Breuss. The tea mix is used to help maintain general health and wellbeing. Rudolf Breuss, a natural healer, was a most extraordinary man who devoted his long life to helping people. Born in 1899 into an impoverished Austrian family, he had a desire to help at a very early age. As a young boy he educated himself by reading books and attending lectures whenever he could - a practice he maintained throughout his life. Herbal teas are best stored below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and in a dry environment. Directions Infuse 1 heaped teaspoon of Breuss Kidney Tea Mix with a cup of boiling water (use rain or filtered), steep for 10 minutes and strain. (2) Add the strained tea to 2 cups of water, simmer for 10 minutes and strain. Combine the two preparations and drink. If not using the tea straight away, you can store it in a covered jug or container in the fridge for up to 24 hours and gently warm the mixture before drinking. Ingredients Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) stem dry, Greater nettle (Stinging nettle) herb dry, Knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare) herb dry, St John's wort herb dry. About Hilde Hemmes Born from a background and knowledge in herbs, Hilde Hemmes is the creative and inspirational energy behind her family-owned company, Herbal Supplies Pty Ltd. As Australia’s leading therapeutic herbal tea manufacturer, Hilde and her family take pride in being independent, competitive, flexible and fully-integrated, and their commitment to herbalism is still as strong as it was when the company was founded in 1985. Over the years Hilde has collected many rare, out-of-print books on herbs and their uses, and has discovered many valuable recipes and ancient formulae that may otherwise have been forgotten.
