Saved my cat from many vet visits and invasive procedures. He used to get bad urinary infections and visits were very costly and frequent. We switched him to hills urinary hairball control (wet and dry) and he’s never had a urinary tract infection since. This was a godsend for us. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it for peace of mind.

Having a long haired cat usually means a lot of hairballs are going to come your way, but not anymore thanks to this amazing food! My long haired feline has been eating this food for 4 years now and it has helped with his hair balls immensely! Before going on this food, I would find at least one hairball a week somewhere on the carpet, but now I can go months without a single incident! This food has also helped my short hair cat with her sensitive urinary tract, so it has been a great fit for both of them! My big Siamese neutered tom has required multiple surgeries for struvite urinary stones. The Hills Prescription Diet was recommended for this problem, but that's VERY expensive for a big cat that's likely to live for another decade. So far, the Hill's Science Diet has kept him from any more episodes at half the price. It's certainly not his favorite food, but that helps keep his weight down. The handful of Hill's Dental he gets each evening is his favorite part of the day. I buy two cases of the 5.5 oz cans every 48 days. Walmart has competitive pricing and ships promptly. Many of the cans have been dented but none has been punctured. I would recommend Walmart for this and other pet products.

It’s supposed to pate but sometimes arrives more in the form of purée, that’s a problem because there’s basically nothing there for the cats to chew, they don’t like the semi soup texture so they leave it there. I don’t appreciate the formula texture change, this stuff is super expensive! $1.43 for the small 2oz. can!!! I’m feeding this because one of my cats has developed kidney issues. DO NOT FEED YOUR CAT DRY FOOD ONLY! You will pay dearly at the Vets., & the animal suffers & your bank account suffers. I try to feed the best but Hills is getting carried away with how much they’re charging for this stuff. I must find a better food at a better price with the same formula texture consistently because I’m losing money here!
Elder cat with kidney issues tolerates 1/2 can at night. I have found other soft foods that he will eat completely, so apparently this one isn't quite up to snuff with the flavor. But nonetheless, transitioning to low fat, high protein soft and hard foods without extra fillers has worked wonders for his health. Highly recommended as a place to start with a cat developing kidney problems.
I switched to odering from Kriser's recently because other places did not have the products I needed. Kriser's consistently has the products I need, at a competitive price and the service is great. I particularly like the fun stickers that are placed on the boxes. This time, the sticker told me I was a "good human" which brought a smile to my face.
I purchased a few cans today at Petco and my cats just loved this! I love that the consistency has more liquid and not too many chucks because my cats like to lick the food. That's the only way they will eat it. I have a couple of senior cats one with some dental issues we are taking care of so it worked perfectly for him. It's the only way any of my Ragdolls will eat wet food is to lick so thank you for making something that works for them!!
I used to feed this to my cats religiously. In the last 6 months, however, the quality of this food has plummeted & the price has shot up. At first I thought my cats were being picky, until I found an old can of their food from the back of the cabinet (before the quality/price changed) and to my surprise they loved it. In comparison with the more recent cans I’d purchased, the old one was fresh, smelled as good as cat food can smell, and had a nice pink color to it. The newer cans have stinky, grayish food. I will not be feeding my cats this slop again unless Hills Science Diet does something to control their quality.
Really works ! One of our male cats had daily hairballs. We started Science Diet Hairball Control and they stopped quickly. We couldn't get it for a while and again he had daily hairballs. As soon as we got a new supply from Petco, the hairballs stopped again. It is rare to so clearly see such effectiveness. Strongly recommended.
The product is fine. Both my Ragdoll cats eat Hill's Science Diet exclusively. It's a little on the pricey side so I always shop for best price which is how I found PetFlow. However, the shipping took way to long to get to me. Despite the slight lower cost, unfortunately, I won't be ordering from PetFlow again. :(
