We have only had the lone up for a week or so and it is great. It is actually bigger than expected and can carry a huge amount of washing. Thanks, however to our landscaper who had concreted the bottom 300mm+ into the ground, but still allowed for a 1.0m clearance above the deck. We recommend anyone buying such a large clothesline do this so that the the mounts can handle heavy towels etc at the end of the line. Perfect as the reach to the line is perfect for someone with a height of 160-180cm. A great, semi compact line for families.

It’s fabulous. Takes heaps, I love the areas to hang clothes on coat hangers. It takes my king size sheets and quilt and is so easy to collapse and carry and put away. Really wonderful product. Thank you.

A long wait before clothesline could be installed because we needed a concrete cutter to make holes in concrete. We had 4 bolts 55mil and had to buy 2 bolts 75m. But new bolts were different colours so ended buy 4 new bolts of matching colour. I found the instruction booklet lacking in clarity and watched videos to get better understanding. You give no indication of how many bags of concrete I would need. Bunnings said one bag per hole. But I ended up two and half bags per hole.

Very easy to purchase online - plenty of emails explaining what will happen next - our installer was AMAZING - got it up in now time at a height we are very happy with (shorter than most) and I love the fact that if it is a small load I can just have half the line up... I can easily fit everything on it - the lines are a little closer together than my last clothesline but it is right in the sun so won't be an issue - in the winter I might hang on every second line - or just leave out longer. LOVE it...
The double line is brilliant in our narrow site. Drop the outer for normal wash, allows space to pass without a wet sheet in the face. Love it. Service brilliant. Price sensational. However, one small issue with the visual instructions. Care is needed to ensure arms are alinged correctly. Switch the around as I did, meant drilling holes to fit 5 wires on the inner and 6 on the outer. All good.
The kit came with everything we needed, the instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow, and the parts themselves are well made. The selection of sizes of clothes lines is also great, we found one exactly the right size for our courtyard, taking full advantage of the space without encroaching. Very happy to know it’s Australian made as well.
We replaced our wind up rotary clothesline - which had spoiled the vista of our backyard for 6 years - with the Hills Everyday Double Clothesline Folding Frame. Shopping online with free delivery was a real winner for us as we would have to complete a 2 hour return trip to our nearest ‘big green retailer’. We have located our Hills Everyday Double Clothesline - Folding Frame along the side of our north facing garage which is a perfect sun trap. It is amazing how much more room there appears to be in our smallish back yard. The new clothesline was easy to install especially following the video instructions. When looking for a clothesline, I was after one that I could attach to a wall/mount. I was after one that was also large enough to hold numerous loads of washing - as I tend to do all my washing on one day. This product meets my needs and more! Highly recommend. There would be one aspect that I would change however, and that is I feel that there could have been one more line squeezed in at the back, just for one extra row. Other than that its perfect.
Hi Team, Have not used the product (Hills Everyday Double Clothesline - Ground Mounted.) yet. Half assembled, but could not find some blots and their accessories about to ring ( had one of the posts in my hand) lifted it a bit higher and heard something slide down inside the post, low and behold there they were inside the POST. All items received faster than expected with no dints or scratches. Now to dig the post holds, OOP's Misses may want it shortened the width (She is reading the how too assemble booklet's) so will have to wait till the Lady of the house makes up her mind, now back to the review! All items arrived in good order, very satisfied, has to be 5 Stars. Jack Hinton
We installed a Hills Folding Clothes Line in our last house and having just moved into our new home that didn't have a clothes line, it was a natural decision to purchase another Hills Clothes Line. We went for the premium Midnight Sky colour which works so well in our new back yard. Very pleased.
