They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require the care of a veterinarian. Hill's nutritionists & veterinarians developed Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare clinical nutrition specially formulated to support your cats urinary health. In fact, c/d Multicare is clinically tested nutrition to lower the recurrence of most common urinary signs by 89%.

I have a 6 and 10 year old who both had urinary issues and since putting them on this food they've been very well. I usually buy the chicken and I've just introduced the salmon flavour and they lick their bowls clean so is now going to be a regular delivery in my household

My cat had urinary problems years ago and had to go on prescription feeding. There was another brand we started off with but they turned their nose up on it. Fortunately they loved this brand, as there isn't many urninary C/D prescription brands to choose from.

Our young male cat developed inflammatory urinary tract/bladder, and while the vet didn't find stones or anything (so he's not blocked), we had to put him on this diet for a month. Although he's always fed raw meat diet, he loves occasional commercial wet cat food, so I thought he would love this and chicken flavor of the same product. Boy was I wrong! For some reason he's really reluctant to eat it, although his sister doesn't mind it and steals his food. I think there's not enough sauce in it and chunks can be a little difficult for him to eat, so I have to puree this and warm it up before serving. Both my cat and I can't wait to get him off this diet.... However, if your cat is blocked and it's struvite based, then I strongly recommend you try this prescription ... MoreOur young male cat developed inflammatory urinary tract/bladder, and while the vet didn't find stones or anything (so he's not blocked), we had to put him on this diet for a month. My Cat Ginger loves to have his diet very much and can improve his Urinary care properly and effectively
my cat chocolate loves the taste very much and always asks for the food. He is very happy whe he gets the food and goes around you.
My 9 year old tom cat gets crystals in his bladder so this food coupled with running fresh water has completely improved his quality of life! No more vet visits and he scoffs this salmon flavor down
Its great for our fat cat , shes spoilt above all things and this is the best food , she loves it now after we weaned her off the others (maybe junk food ), and she is loosing weight . No more kidney stones for her now from feeding her this Prescription Diet food ..So much better for her.
Puddy welcomed another flavour to his diet with this new food which will hopefully eliminate any future issues with his health. He doesn't leave any hint and his bowl is always polished clean.
We treat our tomcat from time to time with this product for some variety in his diet. Having issues with bladder / crystals Hills CD cat food keeps good urine flow going.
