Hiplok - DX Lock Orange

Great little lock.Very manageable weight for the security rating.Lock mechanism operates smoothly & is well sealed from the weather.Belt hook is excellent - very comfortable to wear and impossible to accidentally shake off/drop.Shackle is just the right size - short enough that I can sit on a chair even with the lock still hooked on behind me, but long enough that I can comfortably get it around a frame and any rack or medium sized post without leaving a large space inside the lock exposed.Rubber coating on the shackle is very much appreciated.

Amazing compact and lightweight lock

Not the cheapest d-lock on the market but it sure oozes quality. It's got a reassuring feel to the lock mechanism and really convenient to carry with the clip feature - I use mine on my bag and it holds support tight. It's small, compact and super smooth to use.

Great sturdy lock. Feels and looks very secure. The belt clips work OK.

Good Quality Bike Lock

I bought this as a secondary lock for my front wheel. It's well made and does the job I purchased it for. If you don't wear a belt it's a bit of a pain to transport around, but that goes for all decent locks, so I don't class that as a bad thing.HipLock have a key number registration so if you should need a replacement it shouldn't be too difficult to get one.

Good size and secure

Works great for running errands or exploring. I got this for its gold security rating and packable size. Fits in my pack. I like the style and the waterproofing of the lock is a nice feature.

Hipok DX (Orange)

I have a few cycle locks for different situations and the Hiplok are the option I use a lot…I have the Black and Orange DX locks and purchased a coloured key cover separately to help identify the keys for each lock…the DX locks are nice, good level of security and smooth in use.

Ingenious

clips easily and fairly securely to belts, backpack bands, and other suitable attachment sites. Highly portable and looks great. Feels like quality materials down to the keys themselves. But note it is a bit small - won’t extend far to maneuver difficult posts upon which to secure your bike frame.

Make you sure have a good belt

The hiplok is a really heavy duty lock and is highly regarded for it's security features. It is very easy to use, and great that you get extra keys with the lock. It can be mounted on your hip, but really, unless you have a heavy duty belt this is probably one to carry in a backpack. Otherwise a great lock!

Secure but short

I feel confident that my bike is secure when using this lock. It is heavy but I can leave it at work to use each day rather than having to carry the weight. Only down side is that it is too short to fit around the bike rack that I lock it to. Therefore, I have to use a chain lock with it as well.

Well made lock

It is solidly made, and comes with three keys which is handy. I chose the orange trim as its bit more cheerful than the all black version. I bought it for securing my kick scooter when out shopping and will use it with a second lock as two different types of locks is usually a good idea. I will probably carry it in a shoulder bag, rather than on my belt as suggested in the adverts. Overall I am pleased with the size and quality.
