A great purchase chosen because of size, price, convenience of delivery. I picked this one because of having a chest freezer for 40 years and knew it would be right. The brand did not worry me as most are made this country now. I looked at an upright freezer but felt I would loose size and coldness when the door was opened.. As it only has one freezer basket I purchased others from nearby shops.

DO NOT BUY THIS FROM THE GOOD GUYS.I purchased this online. Found out it doesnt freeze after waiting patiently for 3 days after turning it on. Couldnt get through to the good guys, finally did, they lodge a claim. Hisense has coke back and agreed that The Good Guys is authorised to give me an exchange or refund. I HAVE CALLED THEM EVERYDAY FOR 5 DAYS, THE PHONE RINGS OUT AND MY MOTHER IS STUCK WITH A FAULTU FREEZER. TERRIBLE SERVICE

I'm happy that I bought this freezer. Good spaces, exactly what I'm hoping for. Setting the freezer on no. 6 work best for me.

Extemely quiet. Makes a great fridge as well as a freezer. We're using it offgrid and the power consumption in fridge mode is absolutely miniscule. Two thumbs up - great appliance.

Got the freezer to upsize and it has so far been a good size for what we need. I like that its on wheels.Would be helpful to have more than one basket. It does seem to ice up a little bit and hold cold well. But I've only had it less than a month.
Good freezer - set and go. No problems, and quiet (well quieter than the solar battery and charger).Fitted in the back of a UTE for pick up and take home (Ford Ranger).Why only 4*s - well I am an old guy and freezers should be below $100 - hell a house deposit was only $800 (when I was a young guy) .....
Having a refrigerator setting is perfect while entertaining big crowds when the normal fridge is full. Its never missed a beat either sitting in the direct sunlight in the late afternoon.
Unfortunately this freezer was not made well at all. The walls on the inside were missing the white coating hence the silver metal was showing which is it not meant to, there was plastic sticking out between the join of the floor and the side wall. Very disappointing for Hisense
This chest freezer is light, it is on wheels, and can be turned down to utilize as a fridge if necessary. It cools down very quickly, and has a heap of room. So pleased that I picked this one. In typical Hisense fashion, it is excellent value for money!
