The Freezer runs very quietly and has quite a bit of available storage. The front door control panel is easy to use and has a few functions on it. The power consumption is half of my previous same size freezer. The 2 top flip lids are a bit tricky to open. You just need to be gentle with lifting and sliding them back. The drawers run well on their runners. Another reviewer mentioned that the door is sometimes hard to open. As with my previous freezer, the door is hard to open if you open the door immediately after closing. So it’s best to wait a bit if you want to open it again soon after closing. My old freezer was worse with jamming shut. Although the icemaker cubes are small, it’s a great function to have. We had the predecessor of this current model which was with us for 15 years before a power surge wiped it out and it's new big brother has fitted right in. The only design change we don't like is the new ice-cube maker section. Anyway here's hoping we get at least 15 years out of this one, the new power surge adaptor should help!!! Also thank you to AOL for your prompt service, the old freezer died Sunday around 2pm and we had the new one installed Monday at 9am!!!

Hisense has had this same model freezer for a long time, just updating a few features along the way. The one we replaced lasted for 15 years before a power surge cooked it. The new one has slightly deeper shelving and a new ice making section. Not too keen on the ice thing, quite fiddly, but everything else is great. Not an overly large freezer either but holds everything we need.
This freezer is replacing our old freezer; the same brand but older model - which last almost 7 yrs. (We had ice build up on the bottom of freezer on the last few years before it completely stop working).Value for money, user friendly.1st time tried Appliancesonline. Very happy with the services. From the price, the ordering system, communications (details of delivery and the promptness) to the set up of the unit. They also collected our old freezer, safe us from the headache to dispose it ourselves. The delivery men were friendly, efficient, and tidy (with the excess packaging). We purchased this freezer about a month ago and it is a good size. The shelves and drawers are spacious and it is operating well. The shelf doors are not particularly strong, but think with care will last. Very happy with purchase so far.As always, great service and delivery from Appliances Online
If I have know this freezer is making so much noise I won't have bought it. Everything is good but just hate the loud noise especially we sit near the kitchen. I found it hard to open the freezer as you have to force to open it.
It's still early days to make a definitive review. So far, the freezer is performing as expected. The 2 top shelves have covers instead of baskets, making them difficult to use the space fully.I accidentally removed one cover when I was trying to close it. it was much easier to access that shelf so I left it out. I can now fully utilise the shelf.
The Hisense 254L upright freezer fits perfectly into our family lifestyle. Everything is easy to reach, drawers slide effortlessly and takes up minimal space compared to our old chest freezer. I love the ice tray and also the rapid freeze, ideal for putting our frozen groceries away.
Very slimline and elegant looking unit. It's really quiet, and seems to be going great after a few weeks installed in our enclosed verandah area. It took very little time toget down to temp after installation and has so far been true to the label on the tin - no frost. The drawers inside are a great idea to keep everything organised and easy to find. The drawer lids seem a little flimsy, I just have to remember to be gentle with it :-) On the whole the only thing I could ask for any different is to make the drawers a little more robust. Apart from that it's a great freezer and has made a big difference to how we shop and save on bulk purchases.
