The Hohner Rocket Harmonica is one of the loudest instruments you will ever hear. If you find yourself struggling to be heard in your band, then the Rocket's wide-open cover plates will provide the needed volume. You can still hear yourself clearly thanks to the side vents on the covers. Larger channel openings will also make it easier to isolate individual notes and the slight taper forces air to travel quicker through your harp, boosting the volume even further and improving responsiveness. An ergonomically designed ABS comb with recessed reed plates makes this instrument comfortable to play and easy on the lips when gliding. The comb will also not swell over time like wooden ones. As with many of Hohner's other harmonicas, the Rocket can be taken apart for maintenance by unscrewing the cover plates. A sturdy case is included to keep dust out while still allowing moisture to evaporate.
