Midsole To make your runs comfortable, HOKA has added a CMEVA midsole that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. The Early stage Meta-Rocker geometry contributes to a quick gait of the feet, as the transition zone is placed behind the metatarsal bones. This ensures a smoother step and a faster transition to the forefoot, which contributes to an explosive feeling. In combination with the J-Frame midsole support, which has been added to the shoe, you are always equipped with extra stability and guidance at your feet during your long training sessions! The EVA insole provides extra support where necessary and ensures a flexible fit. Upper The lightweight mesh upper wicks moisture away from your foot, keeping you dry and cool. The mesh is partly made from recycled material. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone. The pleated tongue of this shoe is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing dirt from entering the shoe and keeping the tongue centered.
