This would be a great shoe if the tread did not start deterirating after the first hike. Fast forward to three hikes later, and it looks like I've owned these shoes for 5 years and went on 100 hikes. The tread has completely disintegrated in areas and others are falling apart. Unbelievable poor quality given the price point. DO NOT BUY!

Got this trail shoe as a gift less than 2 months ago. Took it for a few hikes before taking it to Baxter State Park. Shoe got wrecked! As the title said, very disappointed with the durability of this hiking shoe. Hoka might make great shoes, but these hiking shoes are not it.

The hiking shoes are made with durable materials and fit perfectly with very little extra room, like I expected. Shipping was immediate, received it 2 days earlier than expected. Sale price of $99 is awesome

Good fit - true to size for me (14). I got the green camo pair and they're very cool-looking, which is suprising for a hiking boot.Excellent construction. The heel extends back and is very cushiony. I like it, but it takes some adjustment as it changes the feel from any other boots/shoes.
Love these! I read differing reviews online about sizing (some said they run big and to size down) but ultimately I went with the same size as my HOKA running shoes. They fit perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t go down.
Hoka has been my go to for all terrains. Comfort is consistent … especially for long distances. To find a Hoka under $100. You’ve got to snap them up!! Great show. Great comfort. Durability.
This is my second pair of Hokas. I also own the Mach 4 running shoe and after hundreds of miles I still love them and they are in great shape. These are probably the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They are more like a hybrid trail running shoe. in fact it's very easy to break into a jog on the trail with these on. They aren't going to be good for backpacking or any other type of rugged hiking, but for a comfortable, swift pair of day hiking boots you probably won't find anything better.
Pros:These shoes have the usual good cushioning and comfort of a Hoka.I like the lug depth of 5 mm. They "bite" into dirt and gravel trails better, resulting in less slipping on the trail.Cons:The laces are too short. I like to double-knot my shoelaces and these are barely long enough to do so.The strap on the back of the boot (for assisting pulling the boot over my foot) is oriented incorrectly! Why the strap/loop is horizontal, instead of vertical, baffles me.One star deducted for the cons.
Absolutely love them. Helped take the pain away from my feet. Very comfortable. Love that they are waterproof. And light on the feet. Can do a 10 mile hike with ease.
Left boot won't stay laced. One of the lace hooks releases the lace almost every time I wear them. I have to try to lace so tight it is uncomfortable if the lace is going to even have a chance of staying. Do not recommend. Hoka should stick to running and walking shoes.
