Kaha 2 Low GTX is designed to provide maximum cushioning, support and comfort. Hoka One One says With a remarkable weight-to-cushion ratio, the Kaha Low 2 GTX delivers peak performance with peak plushness. Updated with a HUBBLE heel with SwallowTail geometry, this low-cut hiker features Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug for increased ground contact. Mindfully made, this trailblazing silhouette employs GORE-TEX footwear fabric with recycled textile. How it’s different: Sustainably-minded materials. Enhanced cushion and durability. Why you’ll love it: It’s maximal “HOKA” cushion for the trail. Think Bondi, but for hiking. Our Verdict Hoka One One's Kaha 2 Low GTX is designed to provide maximum cushioning, support and comfort. With an impressively plush 26mm stack in the forefoot and 32 mm heel making this shoe is ideal for long distance walking and multiday treks. There is an amazing amount of cushioning and levels of comfort. As with much of the Hoka range, the style and in particular the look of the sole is not going to be to everyone's taste but the support you get from them, especially for long days and multiday trips is certainly worthwhile in our experience. In this shoe there is a quality Gore-Tex waterproof lining that will keep your feet dry through a range of conditions, whether that it the terrain or the weather itself. This is probably the most weatherproof shoe in our range from Hoka due to the full leather upper and high ankle coverage. They also use the Vibram Megagrip which provides a really good amount of grip on varied terrain in the wet and dry. The sole has multidirectional lugs for gaining traction when you need it most and it gives a bit of extra stability. There is variation in the foam used in the sole to provide a balance of cushioning and responsiveness.
