I have Plantir Fachitis in my right heel. If you know what that is you know IT IS VERY PAINFUL. Therapy, anti flammatory medicine, and an arch insert is needed. This slide was
recommended by the nurse I saw for my foot and it is AMAZING. ZERO PAIN when I wear these. Feels like your foot is being cradled. I will buying several more colors. THANK
YOU HOKA for this marvelous creation.

These are better than the Ora recovery slides in my opinion. Hope they continue with this model. I wear a size 10.5 in Hoka shoes so I ordered an 11 recovery slide. I usually
wear socks with my slides and it fits great. I work from home and wear them all day long. I have chronic pain in my feet from a military injury and these are like heaven! So
soft but I still feel plenty stable. They also add a couple inches to your height just like regular Hoka shoes which was odd at first but didn't feel unstable. I have a lot of different
brands "recovery slides" from places like NoBull, Olukai, Addidas and Nike and these are by far the best.

I was not loving my crocs for around the house shoes and wanted more support and comfort. My feet don't hurt anymore, no matter what chores I'm up doing! I have had
several foot surgeries and problems so this is a miracle for me. I have wide feet and they fit beautifully, like they were custom made for my feet, no slipping off. I love Hoka,
they gave me back my life! Worth the $. Better than Oofos as I've had those before too.

I may get the red as well !
31 August 2024
I mostly wear around the house but do wear out occasionally. I like that it looks more streamlined than some of the others and I love the choice of colors. I don't like the huge HOKA written across the top. My favorite Hoka Slides for sturdiness plus comfort are still the Ora Recovery 2 slides. But it looks like you don't make those anymore. The drawback with those, though, is that they are too chunky looking.... Show more

My Podiatrist Recommended Hoka Recovery Shoes
29 July 2024
As an adult with diabetes, I've been wearing Crocs around the house for years. At my recent annual Podiatrist office visit, he recommended the Hoka Recovery sandal. I'd never heard of it before even though I've been wearing Hoka shoes for years starting with the Clifton 3, which I should throw away but still wear occasionally. Well, I ordered the Hoka Recovery sandal and I have to say it's typical Hoka quality can cushy. When I step into these, they raise me up at least an inch. I definitely recommend them. The only change I recommend is to add a Recovery sandal that protects the toes since a diabetic can have multiple problems if hurting or injuring your toes.... Show more

My shoes are too big and they won't let me return them
11 September 2024
I have 5 pairs of Hoka shoes and love them. I purchased a pair of Hoka slip on pool shoes using my shoe size and the were too big. I exchanged them for a smaller size. They were also too big. I tried to exchange them for yet a smaller size and a message came up that the purchase was ineligible for exchange. I need a size 9 shoe to work with my size 11 foot. I currently have a pair of size 10's that I can't use. I won't shop on line with Hoka again and would caution anyone from doing so.... Show more

Ora Athletic Slide
14 September 2024
I purchased these Ora Athletic slides (size 8) as house shoes due to the pain of walking. I went ahead and purchased them after reading the reviews and some had trouble with them being too big and foot slipping. I wanted them snug and comfy. My normal size is a 9 and after wearing these around the house (size 8) seem to be the right fit, my foot does not slide front to back and they are snug around the top of my feet. I have experienced some blisters due to breaking them in under my last toes, so I will wear socks with them. Hoping these will last longer than my slippers.... Show more

Slip on vs sandal
31 August 2024
I bought both the slip on and the sandal type that had a piece of material that goes between the first 2 toes. I have terrible Achilles tendon pain. The running shoes were fantastic so I decided to buy the recovery shoes, to wear around the house. Both are wonderful for the pain, and has decreased the amount of pain I experience. Personally, I prefer the slip one because the material in between the sandal, although not bad, still irritates my skin. HOKA has changed my life, I am no longer sedentary and rave about these products to all of my doctors and people who ask me about them.... Show more

So wide!
10 August 2024
Love my old recovery slides. Need new ones. Tried these. Ordered usual size. They were so wide, my foot went straight through and my toes went beyond the top of the shoe! I am a womens 10 medium, never have to adjust my size in any brand shoe. Couldn't believe how wide these are. Why does Hoka keep changing all their good shoes for the worse? I don't get it! I need recovery slides and I love Hoka! What do I do?... Show more

Very Comfortable but Weird Heel
3 October 2024
I give this slide 5 stars for comfort and 4 stars for design. After a little trial and error, I ended up getting my normal size, size 8, and that was the right choice. Some people are having a hard time determining which size to get, but I'd say if you get your normal size you should be all right. This slide is extremely comfortable because of all it's cushioning. But I'm not a fan of the design. I think the way the heel sticks out in the back is rather odd. I'm also not a huge fan of the large "Hoka" written on the top of the slide, but since I'm using these as slippers, I'll give it a pass. I got these because I've had plantar fasciitis in both feet, so I need cushioned footwear.... Show more
