Beautiful Boot
I was scoping this shoe for months. Finally purchased, Christmas came early is all I have to say! Beautiful olive shade. It looks amazingly sturdy as well, especially the vibram sole. One thing to note. The shoe is A LOT more bigger than I expected. Its almost like a low cut boot. Overall I am highly satisfied and looking for the next look walk or trek to try them out fully.... Cool shoe but very wide
I love the style of the shoe. I wish they made more pairs and brought back the simply taupe colorway. I am usually a size 11 but it felt very loose on foot. The length seemed fine but the shoe was so wide ( I have pretty wide feet myself) and my foot kept slipping in and out of the shoe. It might be worth going a half size down and see if that fits better. I probably will do that once they rerelease simply taupe again or come out with other color ways.... Show more

Favorite overall shoe I've ever owned
I will preface this review by saying that I'm a seasoned athlete and continue to train at high levels today. It's surprising to say this considering how many different shoes and brands that I've owned over the years, but this shoe has been by far the most comfortable, responsive, and supportive fit I've ever owned. Minus the limits of too much side to side movement that come with this high-platform design, this shoe is something I would recommend for any trail runner, long distance/moderate runner, high caliber cardio conditioner, or even someone who just wants a comfortable and modern style shoe to wear out and about. The Vibram tread has insane grip for literally any surface you encounter (trust me I spend almost of my time in the diverse AZ landscape) Hoka has ... Good, not great.
I have a dropped metatarsal on my right foot which causes varying degrees of constant pain. I also work 12 hour days on concrete which isn't helping. I purchased the Tor because it is more industrial than the other shoes but I suppose I was hoping for Bondi plushness. Overall the shoes are great and well made but the price definitely takes a star away. My next purchase will be the Bondi 7 for work and the Tor for other activities.... Show more

Interesting Hiker
I ordered these is a 10, which is what I wear in Hoka running shoes, but I found it about 1/2 size too big. It was not as soft as I expected, which I assume is it's being intended to be a hiking shoe and to support a load. I returned them for the size and, if my needs were different, I would order them again in a smaller size. I was looking for something more cushioned to take the load off at the office, so I will likely go with the Challenger or Bondi for now. If I wanted something for the field, I would definitely pick up a pair of these again.... Show more

I would buy this product again, if only I could
It's a great shoe. TOR Summit is even better (been through 4 pairs and were the only shoe I wore for years), mainly because it looks unobtrusive and I can get away with wearing them at work. But both are excellent hiking shoes, give me great stability and don't mash my hammer toes. But of course, both are sold out...no idea if they are discontinued or perhaps will be available in the future. For me, Challenger and Bondi series aren't as good -- Challenger has a steep angle at the heel which I think de-stabilizes the shoe at the point of heel contact. Bondis were just plain tight for some reason. So fingers crossed that they'll make more of either, or it's back to Salomon.... Show more

Please god make this shoe again
Far and away the best shoe ever made. So comfortable and so stylish. Please god let the hoka management wake up from their fever and make this shoe again. Why would you discontinue this product after one season? Worse leadership choices have only been made by the likes of Enron and Luckin Coffee. Look at instagram, hypebeasts love this shoe. Bring it back I'm begging you... Show more

Please offer wider widths
First off - the tors are very nice footwear and in fact were pretty much what I've been looking for in this kind of shoe. Good looking, super supportive and the eVent is a great feature. Unfortunately (for me and my wide-footed brothers and sisters), these excellent items are not offered in the 2E. Hoka isn't alone in terms of footwear manufacturers not offering a better selection in wider widths. Really a shame. I can't even offer a fourth star for my rating. But if you're a regular width kind of person, give them a shot.... Show more

These shoes are the next big thing in sneaker world
I just think these shoes are next level with the style. I'm a sneaker guy and sometimes you need something outside of the Nike and adidas drops, and baby, this it. These shoes got something, something that plays-hard. Is it the functionality? Yeah they water proof and rugged as a warthog, but that ain't it. Is it that they give me an extra inch plus of height? Yeah, they do... but that can't be it. Chalk it up to that can't put a finger on it j'en sais quoi.. Star power, when you got it you got it.... Show more

Too big, otherwise okay
I own 5 other pairs of Hokas, including the Tor Ultra High boots that these are similar to. The Ultra Highs are great, hence my order of these. I should note that all 5 of my other Hokas are size 10, fit perfectly, and I ordered size 10 in these. They are at least half a size too big, and maybe a full size. My heels literally came up out of the boots going uphill. So I sent them back, and would like to try a smaller size, but they've been out of stock in sizes smaller than 10 for the last few weeks. One other nit-the laces in these are pretty flimsy-they feel like laces for dress shoes. Not quite what I want on hiking boots.... Show more
