This is my 2nd pair of Hokas (I bought Bondi 7's earlier in 2021) and they have alleviated ALL pain. I have very bad hip flexors and they hurt almost all the time. On top of that, I sit a lot studying so standing for long periods of time hurt if barefoot or not in supportive shoes. I love these Hoka shoes, they are lighter and shorter than my Bondi's and are so comfortable. My feet feel very supported and because of this, my knee, hip, and foot pain is a thing in the past.I am a true 7.5 in every shoe and the 7.5 are perfect. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet12 hours a shift. A lot of co-workers are now wearing Hoka shoes so I decided to try them. I'm glad I did. I read the reviews and agree with some that the toe box is small so I went up half a size so my toes don't feel cramped by the end of the shift. They don't and my feet don't hurt at all. The only issue I had was that the tongue is rough so when I wore no show socks the first time, within a few hours, my shoes were rubbing raw spots on my ankles. So I wear them now with my compression socks. These shoes don't look too big like some of the Hoka shoes do. They are light weight and give me great arch support. These are my go to shoes for work. Going to buy a second pair in a different color for walking and working out.

After the Clifton 8 didn't quite work for me (too narrow) I tried this shoe on a whim. WOW am I glad I did!! This shoe has now taken me through two half marathons (training and races) and a 10 miler race with complete ease and minimal signs of wear. I'm really impressed! It's the perfect mix of cushion, spring and responsiveness, has a fairly wide toe box and is a very breathable shoe. Also comfortable both on the treadmill and on the road! I just purchased another pair to start wearing for higher mileage but will continue to wear my originals for shorter run as they still have life left in them. I can see myself wearing these for the foreseeable future - absolutely love these!!

Loved the support this sneaker has. Will definitely buy again. Just an FYI...the tag that is on the tongue of the sneaker (some sort of plastic), I was unknowingly allergic to and I ended up with hives and blisters on the top of each foot. I have to wear a sock that covers my skin where the tag is. The hives and blisters came from direct skin contact with the tag. But it will not deter me from buying another pair. Other than that plastic type of tag, the make, support, and quality of the sneaker is exceptional.
I purchased this shoe approximately 2 months ago on sale. The shoe has a great fit, feels comfortable, and has good ankle stability. However, while the sole appears thick there is minimal cushion and impact absorption. They are okay for short 5 km runs but longer runs on sidewalks in city are uncomfortable. Overall, I’d prefer a shoe with more cushioning, or perhaps a different type of cushioning.
What I like:- Versatility. The Match 4 are well-rounded trainers for recovery runs. Their comfort, feel and drop make them also suitable for cross training. In my case, I like doing a ~30min recovery run + gym/HIIT. It does a nice job covering these varied tasks!- Design: neat and elegant. The color combination of the fucsia ones also make them stylish. You can fashion Match 4 for casual outfits with an accent.What I don't like:- Ankle hold: I don't feel my ankles have enough support for longer runs (10K+). I feel my ankles and lower tights sorer after running long distances with the Match 4, a feeling I don't get with other shoes. I run in these shoes daily, 3-5 miles. I was suffering from an ATFL injury that required an annoying ankle brace and just would not get better. The first time I put these on and ran, I felt no pain in my ankle! I'm hooked forever!!!I don't think it's a very cute shoe. If they stop making the dark pink, I'll be sad but still buy them. The tread only lasted me 5 months and then became nearly smooth. I wish they would hold out at least 6 months but again, I'll still purchase again.
I work as a Lifeguard Supervisor at a waterpark so I'm on my feet walking and running around 12 hours a day 60-80 hours a week May-September. Last year I wore the same Nike Freerunners pretty much everyday and by August they had holes in the bottom. I got my Hokas in May and they're holding up super well. They're so much more comfortable than my previous shoes for work and the traction on the bottom of the shoes has worn down a bit but not significantly. They're definitely the most durable shoes I've ever had for work. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten a color that didn't show dirt as easily.
These shoes have been a godsend. I was having so much trouble with my feet I really couldn't exercise. I had purchased permanent inserts from a doctor ($$$$!!!), temporary inserts, other brands of shoes to no avail. Then I got my Hokas. My feet don't hurt at all, I'm very comfortable and my posture is so much better. I'm also not getting bad calluses anymore, and I want to exercise again. I'm buying another pair today. I'm so glad my friend recommended them.
1) I bought two pairs mach 4 women's black and fuschia. I kept the fuschia cause I love the style and color. I had to return the black (after try on but never worn them out). Why? The style looks sleek and colors are wonderful BUT the heel cuff construction is a BIT SHALLOW so when I run or walk, the heel cuff would slide up and down a bit. I have plantar fasciitis so I insert an extra pad which raised the heel area. The Rincon is more comfortable and the heel cuff construction is deeper and more padded.
