Purchased today from Nerang Bunnings, got it home plugged the deck lights in to test them, took a bit to connect to the wifi first up, but totally guttered that it doesn't come with any extension cord to the lights from the controller. and little to none instructions on install, but wait it has one channel only so all the lights must be one colour only bought the RGB coloured lights to make the colour ice white because we hate the yellow white lights.so far I think it is over priced

Use and set up of this product is confusing.The Holman Home app is used with the wifi unit and iGardener app is used with the blue tooth unit.Misleading information regarding running different lights in different colours. The only way to do this is with a second controller ie one controller for the garden lights and another controller for spotlights on the trees. I believe you can run up to 4 controllers with seperate schedules and colours

Great product. I have installed it to control my deck lights, and it controls the RGB colours beautifully. Managing colour changes with the Mobile app and through Alexa is really handy.

The Holman range is very modular and power efficient. I can easily schedule them and are enough for medium gardens. Wiring lengths are good and I have utilised around 20m wiring. Only negative side, lights are through single wiring line thus can't be controlled individually. They are all controlled in bunch unless you get a separate controller. Best thing with wifi controller is , lights can be controlled from anywhere and it definitely comes handy, when you have pets in garden and you are still in office when dark.App is easy to setup and use.
Was easy to set up and add too. Issues: You can't give feedback on the app - tried and tried It might have millions of colours but warm white and cold white aren't there? Some times I want party lights, but other times I want to match my other lights The app is too basic. I would like to make and save colour, ie to match pool light.
This system has lots of nice features its easy to install and all the components seem solid. For the price I was expecting more features like individually setting each light.It cost me around $550 all up which is about double what it would cost with older style setups.The total wattage is pretty good mine is around 25w so that's the same power as half a light bulb.I guess the money I save on power should reduce the initial purchase price over timeI would of given 5 stars if it was 20% - 30% cheaper the price for me is what makes this 4 stars.
This product is easy to install. However you need to be a little of handy man.I have set up 2 of 70mm lights and 6 of decking lights. It was easy as to set up because everything is in line so can't go wrong. To set up wifi was straight forward. I would recomend this to anyone. I've seen it before people have problem set it up but usually it was their own fault as many people don't have good wifi outside home.
Totally discussed in this product for the RRP $239you get basically the same controller that comes with a $20 strip light. I opened the box up to see what was making this so expensive and this is what I found..... it's a real poor excuse of a controller system...
Bought a wifi RGB controller , 3 spots and 2 packs of deck lights.Works well , controller was easy to set up, but will only work on 2.4 ghz wifi.Cables and connectors are well designed and well built.App is better than a lot of this ilk (which are usually written as an afterthought) but as others have said the mode settings are quite limited and inflexible.Again not immediately obvious that you can only program one colour per controller so all lights are the same colour.
Wifi box has one channel which is 2.4 Hz bought and tested during deck build, all worked well, fast forward 8 months the wifi doesn't work with NBN which is 5Hz, we were forced to change over in-between - thinking of how get this to work without having to purchase the bluetooth version. and I don't really want to run a 2,4 hz router. Due to the price I would expect that the box has at least 4 channels to control different areas and colours, with one box it is one colour all lights on or off. This box is a good idea but imho not thought out well enough. Do your home work before buying don't get trapped into a system that is not as good as first thought.
