Home Entertainment System

This is quite a good little unit that I bought as an alternative to my previous purchase. It has a good range of functions and is very easy to operate. The only thing that I can fault is the sound quality. The sound is reasonable, but it would be much better if the unit had a bass and tone function. I have actually added some quality speakers to enhance the sound performance. All in all though, it is a great little unit for the price to listen to your record collection.

This system has all the functions I need to support my vinyl, audio tapes and cd collections BUT the sound is basic and can't be adjusted. I can, however, transfer my favourite tracks to my pc which has a much better sound system. Good value at $219.

LOVE THE ENTERTAINMET SYSTEM, BUT THE SPEEKERS ARE NO GOOD ! THERE IS TO MUCH INTERFERENCE CRACKING WHICH MEANS THE SPEEKERS HAVE A BAD PICK UP. WONDERING IF MYDEAL WOULD BE PREPEARD TO REPLACE.

I found that sadly this unit Doesn't preform the one task i needed. Cassette to CDRW recording. So if you wish to store your very old family recorded cassette tapes it can ONLY happen via USB & SM cards. This means if you wish to listen to the old tapes you would need a device other than the unit with USB/SM outlets. every other function applies as stated.

value for money. I only connected it up yesterday could not get any sound until i added an amplifier also would like information on how to improove FM aerial . otherwise good sound from speakers have not used the turntable yet. TE.

Bring old favourites back to life

Compact system. Took a few trials but now I can convert or play my favourite cassettes and vinyl which I haven't heard in years.

Excellent for digitisation of records

I bought to copy CD’s where the copy protection couldn’t be over written. Normally it is an easy process to rip a CD so the tracks can be played in my car but a small number have copy protection that prevent a CD being Ripper completely or the tracks are terribly distorted. This machine rectified that problem completely.

Lightweight, easy to instal and use

One of few brands available which have multi-function capacity - i.e. transfer of vinyl and tapes to digital medium; speakers o.k. but will take other speakers. Copy and transfer function not yet tested. I am very pleased, especially at the price - I don't expect the same long life (30 years) as the system I replaced (B.& O.), but kept B. & O. speakers and managed to snip ends off and insert into back of this system red wire into red slot, black wire into black slot - simple. Sound is good even with the speakers it comes with and will fill a medium-sized lounge. (I imagine I can still hear my old B.& O. though with the B.& O. speakers.) Recommend - good value, lots of functions. Capridame

Overall great, but CD Player is low quality

I have owned this system now over 3 years and it performs well, however the CD Player died after a short time - I have now rigged up a small MP3 player to it and connected it to the USB port on the stereo, so the sound system is still performing its other functions. Had to get used to having extra wires hanging about - I use it mainly as a radio, now - and play the odd vinyl, so that is a bonus. The price was amazingly low, so I can't complain, but I would have paid extra for a better quality CD player - and maybe not bought the system had I known for that part to be so unstable. All in all: good value, but don't expect too much for little money.

Small unit

Everything works OK. Great for small unit & price. Doesn't blare out noise but I connected to different speakers which made it a bit better sound. Great to finally play old tapes & cd's.
