This is an absolutely awful product! After a couple of months, the battery stopped working. After several calls to customer service and waiting several months, we finally received a replacement. Shortly after the battery charger stopped working, again the same difficulty and long wait time to receive a replacement. Within the one year warranty period the hardwood floor attachment began making an extremely loud noise, to the point where it was unbearable to use it. We called customer service several times, we were told a replacement would be sent - we waited and waited and nothing arrived. Considering we were still under warranty this was very strange. We decided against ruining our vacuum since in our experience customer service was often not true to their word. We moved on to use the secondary attachment that came with the vacuum. After a couple of months the same thing happened. At this point our warranty was up. Our vacuum is now useless and Hoover customer service was absolutely no help, despite the fact that the majority of the issues happened while under warranty. Given the price of the vacuum I would expect a much better product and customer service that actually helps customers.

The vacuum is fantastic and cleans really well, but the brush heads do not last.In less than two years, I have had problems with TWO brush heads. On brush head #1, the brush head seized to the point where it would no longer spin. Hoover shipped me a new vacuum. A year later, I am now having issues with the brush head on the replacement vacuum. The brush head is grinding when vacuuming carpet. There is absolutely NO reason why this product should be failing a second time. The brush heads have not been abused, they have been used for regular home cleaning. What a disappointment.

I use the Hoover ONEPWR Blade for the largest part of our vacuuming, lots of power in a semi small package!Ninety percent of our floors are stained concrete, we have not had or tried a vacuum that will pick up the fine dust off the concrete floors and we have tried some of the alleged best on the market. The Hoover ONEPWR Blade Max, with the microfiber hard floor head, will clean the dust off the concrete floors leaving them with that "just washed" shine. I was impressed with the ONEPWR Blade with the standard style roller brush and how well it cleaned the hard floors however the microfiber hard floor head does an excellent job of vacuuming and polishing.Another excellent feature is the size, fits nicely under most of our furniture, has a fantastic range of ... Being able to grab up the ONEPWR Blade and vacuum quickly, without the annoying cord, does have benefits. The attachments that accompany the ONEPWR Blade make this unit a complete cleaning package. The versatility of the ONEPWR Blade is exceptional. We have two dogs and one of them sheds constantly. The Pet Turbo Tool works great when cleaning dog hair off furniture and throw rugs. We also live in a very dusty area, vacuuming daily is necessary. I would suggest having a spare battery. You are going to find ONEPWR your "go to" vacuum, having the extra battery is nice.To complete the package is Hoover's service. Well...I really want to love this vacuum. I bought it 6 months ago at Canadian Tire after coveting a cordless vacuum for years. I retired my corded, bagged vac. I usually use it on full power because it does a better job, and I have a very small house so it can get me by on 15-20 mins max. However, my house is currently a pet hair disaster because my battery malfunctioned and the thing is no longer useable. I guess I should also keep a backup vacuum for these times. Hoover customer service was prompt at getting back to me and sending out a replacement, but it's been backlogged in the mail and is taking weeks. I've gone back to sweeping the house (not terrible, my rugs need some help though). It's good when it works! But it's not perfect.
Opening up the box, this was very simple to put together without the use of instructions. It only has a handful of pieces that easily snap together. My immediate reaction was how topheavy it is- and NOT freestanding on it's own, which is a slight disappointment. This seems to be the norm with cordless stick vacuums. I do wish they'd find a way to allow them to stand, so you don't have to prop them up against a wall and hope they don't fall when moving something n the midst of vacuuming, picking up a toy you don't want sucked up, etc. After using this for some time, I can say that it certainly is not my favorite vacuum. Here are my main thoughts:I love that it is cordless and can't imagine plugging a vacuum into a wall after using this, but the battery life ... Here are my main thoughts:I love that it is cordless and can't imagine plugging a vacuum into a wall after using this, but the battery life doesn't last very long and it's a bit annoying to always be charging this. It only comes with one battery, so you can't be charging one and using one- and they are VERY expensive to purchase from Hoover. It isn't easy to empty. We have a home full of pets so this very quickly gets filled up with hair, and it's not as simple as just opening the base and dumping it out. I have to reach my hand in and pull clumps of hair from the tiny crevices of the device. The topheaviness is really an issue. I can't tell you how many times I've propped this up against the wall, only for it to fall and scare everyone in the house to bits.Has an "extra" suction feature that is so loud its unbearable to use. There is truly no need for the volume to be amplified by 20 when using this feature. After only using for a few months, the bottom brush/roller is so tangled in hair that I need to take a pair of scissors to it soon, but am dreading it. I wish it sucked up this hair rather than tangling it in the roller. All in all, it gets the job done, but in your search for the perfect vacuum to spend your hard earned money on, I'd pass this one up.
The first thing you have to do when receiving this vacuum is to charge the battery and assemble it.The battery easily slips into the charger and charges up within 3-4 hours. It doesn't have a long charge life, only 20 minutes tops, but that's enough time to do light cleaning for a larger apartment or a decent cleaning for a small place. Getting a second battery or replacement battery is quite pricey at 80 dollars a unit. The instructions for assembling this vacuum isn't very good, but it provides you just enough visuals to get the job done without spending a lot of time scratching your head.Like most vacuums, the Ignite comes with a small set of tools to help you clean crevices, curtains, and furniture. It also includes a wall attachment, which becomes apparently important when you want to rest the machine.I have large 2 bedroom flat, about 5 rooms and a kitchen. I also have a large dog that sheds constantly. I would say the vacuum, with it's battery capacity, is very good for cleaning 2 rooms decently at a time. I found the suction constant and very good. It did a great job with picking up fine dirt and pet hair. The dirt canister isn't very large and required emptying more frequently than if you were using a normal upright. It swivels well which gives you great motion to get under and around things. The vacuum head is a little narrower than your standard upright vacuum head, so you need put a little more time and effort into vacuuming.Resting the vacuum in between things is a little odd as it is top heavy, which makes it difficult to simply lean against a wall in an upright position. The vacuum does includes a wall attachment, so if you plan to use it you need to decide a permanent spot where fix that attachment and store your vacuum.Overall, I was very pleased with how it worked. But, if you like to do big time heavy duty cleaning for a larger place, this vacuum may not be for you as the battery life only 15-20 minutes. I like to break up my cleaning efforts, a room here a room there, so the Ignite was perfect for me.

Immediately picked up everything my last vacuum couldn't on hard floors. The hard floor micro fiber attachment is working great i love how it scrubs the floor of dust at the same time as removing debris also its a step up from the normal broom brush style used for carpets when youre cleaning bare floors. Also you can remove to wash or replace the hard floor micro fiber part very simply just need any coin. I am investing in other Hoover OnePwr products now as they have a 3 year warranty and customer service has been great so far.

This is a great product and really does the job. But the truth is I bought this one initially because I wanted something that was as American made as possible. This isn't perfect but I couldn't find another stick vac with these features and this price range that was more American made. Again, it really does have good suction and I like the features. The dust bin could be a little larger and a little simpler to take on and off. It also should really include a second battery that could charge while the first was in use. It's very lightweight and extremely maneuverable in tight spaces. Love the attachments! Would definitely buy again.
