I decided to go with this Hoover spot cleaner to replace my Bissel that finally died after 19 years. With a much higher price tag, I thought I was upgrading. The actual cleaning ability seems about the same as the Bissel. The design however is terrible.Although very light (a good thing) the cleaning solution reservoir is extremely small, so you can only do small areas at a time. The biggest problem though is the hose. It is so short that you can only clean a spot within a 2’ radius of the base. This means that the base has to positioned on furniture in order to reach any area of it, and has to be moved constantly to cover any area of cleaning.It cleans, but it’s extremely difficult to reach any area to clean it.

The suction on this little unit is awesome, definitely better than the small pet busses machine ( I used for years) the only thing ( why it’s not a five star) is the spray nozzle is not the best, sometimes it sprays great and most of the time it just dribbles out. Maybe I got a defect machine though? It doesn’t bother me much as I just fill a separate spray bottle with the cleaning solution. It’s the suction that makes me happy as it doesn’t take long for any fabric to dry.

This unit is small and portable enough to carry around. It does a great job of what it was designed for. This is much too small to do a whole room. Focus on the small spots and stains. Don't eject more solution than necessary. Works great. This will extend the time between whole house steam cleaning!

It’s certainly not a green machine. Tried it and returned it right away.The tiny reservoir for solution is ridiculous. The spray is odd and very little suction
Practically no suction power. The cleaner container is also very small. Just enough to clean as small stain. You would be better off using detergent, water and a shop vac.
I just bought it this to spot clean my carpet and remove stains from my couch. It worked fine on my carpet, however didn't remove the stains/dirt from my couch. The solution even left a mark after drying. Very disappointed in the product.
We bought this a week ago to help clean up when our new puppy has accidents. I first tried it on our area rug but nothing was sucked up. I thought that the spot may not be wet enough for the suction, so I soaked the spot with water to see if that would help. No luck. I tried it in our bedroom on the carpet thinking it just isn’t meant for rugs. Same results. Tried adding water again to the carpet, no luck. This machine is terrible and I would not waste my money. Now we’re stuck with a useless machine. We would be better off with spray and a brush.
The outter photo on the box makes the bristle brush look much wider and larger, but is a standard small end brush. The clean water tank is literally smaller than my child's blow bubble solution bottle, which lasted two minutes max, and it only takes premixed solution, so be prepared to keep the refill bottle next to you and refill the "tank" about 4-5x for a small 1x1 foot surface area. It was purchased just last night, and unboxed this morning for use and the spray stream didn't spray properly, it made an even looking amount for one half second before sputtering and making a awkward slow drip stream that took the simplest small-to-medium end mess about 45 mins to take out. Not worth over $300 in my opinion! Not even a barbie could get much use of this.
Works great! I have a cat that has stomach problems and so it's been getting used a lot. It's easy to move and it works amazing. It has great suction and sprays well. It was a great purchase. Highly recommend it!
Great machine. I cleaned my 'recycled leather' couch with it. I ended up not using the shampoo it came with but sprayed the couch with cleaner, waited a minute, then scrubbed it with the Hoover machine while running hot water through it. It sucked up all the detergent & water so there is no detergent smell left in the couch. I also have a 20-year-old Hoover vacuum, and this was made in the USA, so chose this one over two other brands. I took the Hoover vacuum in for service just to see what needed to be done, and they said it was working perfectly, so this was one reason to buy a Hoover again. I would recommend this machine to anyone with dirty upholstery. It was well worth the money.
