The storage back for accessories is a really great addition- and the included solution has a nice fresh smell that isn't too soapy or overwhelming.We used it on a room with mid range carpet where the fibers have obviously been worn from traffic and we'd lost count of how many spot stains we'd cleaned. There ate always those spots that seem to just attract dirt bo matter how well you clean the initial stain.Heads up- this unit is fairly loud- but it also seems quite powerful as the suction and turnover of fluid visibly agitated the fibers almost magically lifting deep set dirt. It was kind of like those power washing videos you see on YouTube.As for the dry function we were so interested in, I think we'll need to play with it more on different carpets as I suspect it may be most powerful on rugs or short piles. It seemed to help lift the bulk of the moisture but nothing life altering.Other things we noted:- We felt the power cord containment was a bit clunky and the cord a tad shorter than we'd have liked.-It was very intuitive to use- I'm pretty sure even a first time carpet cleaner could set it up and use it with success.-The handle has several adjustable heights, which offered easier manipulating in various angles and spaces.-The tankspout offered convenient pouring.

I run a home based dog daycare & boarding business so I deal with potential mud, puke, poo and pee on the carpet and rugs. Looked at reviews and found this on sale for 50% off. Reviews looked good and the complaints mostly seemed to be user error. I am glad I went with it, it removed stains that other units wouldn't touch. The rotating brushes vs spinning work much better to lift dirt. Rooms that looked clean with white carpet had dirty water coming up! Easy to clean and use, though it is heavy it works very well. Go slow, pass over every spot twice before moving on and pretreat hard spots before getting started.

It's rare these days to find a product that you are completely satisfied with. This machine cleans better than any professional carpet cleaning company I have every used. Carpets dry faster, too. My wool carpet used to smell like wet wool for days, but, with this machine, it was dry within hours! I just rescued a German Shepard, and cleaning the carpets with this machine has made my life so much happier and healthier. It's also a cost savings over time. Cannot give it enough praise, what a joy to be so satisfied with a purchase.
I am 65 and my old hoover finally went "brushes up" after 20+ years. So I'm hoping to not have to buy another. We live rural, with dogs, cats, livestock, and lots of dirty shoes that don't always get kicked off outside like they should. I clean the carpets at least 4 times per year. One thing I liked on the old one was the little spin brushes that don't seem to stretch the carpet out like brush rolls can. Sadly, the new one's brushes are kinda wimpy, and don't look like they will last as long. Hoover: use sturdier brushes! I shouldn't have to buy new ones in a couple years. Otherwise very happy with purchase.

The powerscrub was very easy to assemble out of the box. We have a dog and cat and the deep clean setting worked great cleaning up their messes. We had a 10 year old Hoover carpet cleaner that worked great too and we really liked and it got a lot of use. But it was time for a new one. This was easy to set up and easy to use. I purchased because it had much bigger tanks than other ones I saw in store. I like that it has a solution tank so I don’t have to mix anything myself. It is quite loud but comparable to other steam cleaners I’ve purchased. I really like the suction on this machine as my old one used to fill the dirt tank up after two cycles of water instead of one. So it really is sucking up the same amount of water you are putting out. It cleaned my carpets well. I recommend the paws and claws with it as it worked well for the pet odors.
