This is the new Hope Bottom Bracket Stainless Steel 83mm. Their machined aluminium cups hold full stainless steel bearings for long lasting rolling. The bearings, made by INA, are designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers, further increasing life and reliability. The Swiss made bearings feature double sealing, giving much greater life span than other units. Non contact, free running labyrinth seals on the bearings protect bearings externally. The machined aluminium centre tube is sealed internally with O-rings.
