These are literally little pieces of trash. I purchased two of them and both have a weak connection and make a buzzing/distorted sound. Read other reviews on different websites that say the same thing.

When recording, this little adapter helps me to connect devices together in an efficient way. Gold connector also offers a clean signal with no static or distortion for the smoothest transfer of sound.

The female 3.5mm socket does not mate cleanly with the Pearstone Stereo 3.5mm cables sold here. This generates lots of noise and cutouts. I'll likely return them.
Got this to pair with another Hosa adapter because they dot make quite the exact one I need. Other adapter is fine, but these adapters are about the worst quality I’ve ever seen. Plugged a jack into the 3.5mm side and it’s loose, with a good 2mm of play. I ordered two adapters and they’re both like this, with any 3.5mm jacks I have around. I expect this kind of quality from no-name eBay stuff sold at cut-rate, but not from a full-price brand-name item.
As stated by another reviewer, the female contacts are loose which results in frequent hum and noise. We bought six of these for use with distribution amps driving studio headphones and external speakers and all of these adapters had this problem.
Which renders the adapter almost unusable, since the connection has problems all the time. My cable is fine since it works perfectly with other adapters.

Fit was decent, some feedback, but overvall a great Saturday night home enterainment solution to entertain different agest to adult during COVID-19!!! Purchased with Apple Headphone adapter and a Comprehensive 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable (6 foot / 6') to use in AUX OUT port on back of my 61 key digital piano. I can't wait to use this again with the Samsung S10 Lite phone I connected (instead of the MP3 option)...!!
You have no idea how long and how much money I have spent trying to find a solid and heavy 1/4" TRS Headphone adapter like the ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones but without the threaded input. THIS IS the one. It's heavy and made of solid material unlike most everything being sold online. The fit is firm and tight. No play whatsoever. The quality is in a class above the rest.This easily replaces the stock ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones. I highly recommend this for people that demand quality. You won't be disappointed.
I'm a schmuck and didn't read the reviews before buying. Like a bunch of other reviewers, the adapters don't latch securely on the female 3.5mm side. I got two and they're both identical in this way. Poor connection, worthless. I would return them except I'd have to eat the shipping and restock fees so I guess they just go in the trash. Ordered some generic adapters on eBay for half the price and they work great. Disappointed.
