I bought a pair to hook up my new Moog Matriarch to the Behringer X32 digital console.Before I bought these I used regular unbalanced 1/4" cables with 1/4" TS-XLR adapters and there was an unacceptable high noise floor. As soon as I replaced that setup with these cables, it was almost dead quite.Good price and fast shipping from American Musical Supply.

Be Careful

I bought these to be able to add microphones to my new Tascam US1800 using XLR cables (there are only 8 XLR inputs on the Tascam). Unfortunately, the XLR connector on these cables were the wrong sex (Male vs. female). For the life of me, I cannot imagine what purpose a TRS to Male XLR would serve. I guess that is why there are NO reviews for this product. Cost me the time and money to return, but thanks to MF for having a good return policy. I sure wish the MF sales rep would have questioned my purchase when I ordered it since I ordered it with the US1800. I gave it 3 stars because I see no use for the product, but the quality looked ok.

Good quality cable!

Hosa cables are always a great deal. Quality cables, great warranty, and they pretty much have any cable you would need. This one has quality, repairable connectors which is helpful.

Gotta turn it around

I picked up a few powered speakers, one a rolling mobile PA and one just a powered monitor with two inputs, a mic and a line input. I wanted to have some units available for our friends who play music in Memphis to come by and rent or borrow to go and busk for tips on the street. The monitor had two inputs, but the line input was a XLR in. I needed to plug a guitar into that input, so I needed either a pricey transformer that also left the cable end in a break-me position, or I needed a cable that was 1/4 on one end and XLR on the other. I chose the cheapest option, lol. This cable has a nice gauge to it so it can stand up to hard use and sends a LOT of electrons to the powered speaker. Great quality, performance and value.

Using a pair of these to connect a Line 6 Pod Go floor modeler to two Headrush FRFR-108 speakers. The cable is very light-weight and flexible and build quality is excellent with the top-quality Rean connectors. So far they have performed flawlessly. And as always the price is right at B&H Photo!

Liked it so much, I bought two more!

I use these for "adapter" cables between my small mixer (1/4" out) to connect to my mains (XLRs).This way I can have different sized mic cables for whatever gig setup we're playing for microphones and my mains. We play out lots, so I like to keep the equipment I gotta haul to a minimum, while having spares plus flexibility. These seem well built as well with a high quality XLR. These do the trick! 😎👍

Perfect for smaller DJ setups

I use this wire to get direct feeds from DJ's when I film weddings. Depending on where the wedding (or other events) take place some audio units may not be equipped with XLR out but should have 1/4 out and that is where this comes in handy! I use it on my audio recording device and haven't had any issues at all!

Solid Cable for Studio

I don't perceive any issues in regard to noise from nearby power sources or electronics so these cables have sufficient shielding. Based on how they feel I wouldn't use these anywhere outside of a studio or home-theater setting but other than that, there's no reason to hesitate picking up some HOSA cables.
