This tea is grown in Hoshino village in Yame City Ward in Shizuoka Prefecture. Nature is dense here, and this area is renowned for producing high quality gyokuro, matcha and sencha. The smell of fresh grass and its roundness on the palate make it an exceptional sencha. It is a very soft and pleasant tea in the mouth. This Sencha was produced by Hoshino Green Tea Association.
