As time progresses it slowly starts to lose warmth. By the tenth hour there's only a faint amount of heat. They come in handy for a plethora of different uses. Easy to activate, just have to take it out of the bag and shake. Became warm faster than expected and hot enough that I can feel it through the pocket of my winter coat. Small and portable. Doesn't last 10 hours like the package claims. First 2 hours was best, then the heat lowered a lot. Thought it would stop working soon but continued to emanate slight warmth for 5 more hours. Good value, especially during winter and you're weak to the cold like me.

Chance for warmth and kindness to meet.

Warmed by kindness. These little handwarmers were just the right price at just the right time. I am coming out of paralysis and there heavily depend on my online and delivery personnel. My Wal-Mart plus app gets my orders available and delivery staff bring them to my door. But 27 degree weather froze my delivery staff and my homeless friends alike. I bought several packages of these handwarmers and distributed them to my food driver and to my future friends who hadn't the present comfort of a warm home like I have. So , handwarmers filled the gap for warmth and kindness at the same time. Thank you walmart

Great All Around Hand Warmer
26 October 2024

These are the industry standard hand warmers that all others are judged by and are all around excellent. They start to heat up quickly but take about 15 to 20 minutes to reach their normal temp so you should start them when you're sure you'll need them but a bit before heading out into the cold. They are the perfect size for me in that they produce a good amount of heat but are small enough and moldable enough to fit them into gloves or pockets. They do usually last around 10 hours but the last hour they may be a cooler than they were befor that.I've been using them for years and have never been disappointed so they are easy to recommend.

Great for Backpacking, Essential for Cold Weather
27 December 2023

We took these backpacking in January and I'm so glad we did. The temperature got about 10 to 15 degrees colder than what was predicted. Our dog didn't have enough sense to stay in the bag so we my husband had to flop his arm over her, which made his gloved hand stick out a bit. Meanwhile, my pinky toe was getting so cold in my bag. After a couple hours waking up because of my toe, I remembered we had these and I should use them NOW. I did and within minutes got relief. (I was saving them for the kids, but we had plenty and the kids were snug with hand and foot warmers in their bags.) What my husband and I ended up getting, because we didn't use these sooner, was frost nip. We could have ended up with frost bite but these saved us from that. Never again will we wait ... MoreWe took these backpacking in January and I'm so glad we did. The temperature got about 10 to 15 degrees colder than what was predicted. Great inside your gloves!
17 December 2023

3 of my grandchildren play little league football that runs through October. Sitting in the stands for 6 hours in rain and cold air, even with gloves makes my hands numb. I keep a 10 pack of handwarmers in my carryall and pass thrm out to anyone in need of a "defrost". These are easy to squeeze and shake to activate the ingredients that warm your hands. They last about an hour or longer if you keep your gloved hands in your hoodie or coat pockets. They ate easy to transport, work fast and yes- work to keep your hands warm while you're snowblowing or shoveling your driveway. I also want to give a shout to the warmers for boots. My grandchildren love them because they can play be out in the snow longer .Great quality, fast and long lasting heat to keep you warm!

Hand Warmers
19 November 2023

These little gems are awesome. To activate the hand warmer you just open the package and give it a couple shakes and within a couple minutes the hand warmers are pretty warm. You can hold in your hand to warm your hands up, I have put them against my face (just for a short period and while holding in my hand) to warm my face up. I have also put in my pockets so the warmers are against my legs. You get two warmers in the package. Each is sealed separately so you do not have to use both at the same time. This is another plus. In the colder months I like to keep these on hand. You never know when you may need to be outside. I have used these for a few years and will continue to use them in the future. I would recommend to others for sure.

Life saver
20 May 2024

I I use the 10 hour ones during the day and the 18 hour ones in the evening probably after 7 PM for my feral cat that sleeps outdoors when our temperatures are below 40° during the winter when it gets down in the 30s, these are a lifesaver for my cat the cat always sleeps outdoors. He’s a feral cat and I take good care of them. I must go through three boxes of the 18 hour and probably at least four boxes and those are cases of the 10 hour ones the 10 hour ones don’t last long enough at night. They’re just perfect for the morning until I change them out at night he knows he’s getting them. I think this is what helps. Keep him alive. I’ve been using the handwarmers and his bed for at least five years.. you have to wrap them in something otherwise they get too hot and ... MoreI I use the 10 hour ones during the day and the 18 hour ones in the evening probably after 7 PM for my feral cat that sleeps outdoors when our temperatures are below 40° during the winter when it gets down in the 30s, these are a lifesaver for my cat the cat always sleeps outdoors. Perfect for small pets during winter power outage
4 February 2023

We had a terrible storm two years ago with sub-freezing temps and a statewide power outage. Last year I got a small breed puppy, and one of my biggest worries was how to protect him if we ever have an event like that again. In November, before winter had really set in here in Texas, I ordered a big pack of HotHands. Never used them before, but I just hoped they'd work as well as they claimed.Well, an ice storm hit, and add I type this review, power's been out for 80 hours. And they each stayed hot for over 12 hours! I'm sold. I'm keeping lots of these on hand from now on!

Warm yourself with at a good price!
29 March 2023

My hands are always cold in winter weather despite the thickness and quality of my gloves or mittens. In very cold weather, I can also suffer from "ice cream" headaches despite the quality of my winter hats. A friend who also suffers from the cold recommended Grabber Hand Warmers that he buys in these large value packages. He definitely gave me good advice. Given that these hand warmers can be very warm, I usually insert one between an inner light wool glove and an outer heavier winter glove. To keep my head warm. I insert one between a wool skull cap (like the one you might wear under your bike helmet in colder weather) and my heavier winter "Trapper" style hat. These methods of keeping warm may sound a bit weird, but they make it possible to enjoy winter ... MoreMy hands are always cold in winter weather despite the thickness and quality of my gloves or mittens.
