Well, there isn't much to say about Hot Wheels. I'm 61 y/o and I remember playing with these little cars as a boy, so they've been around for, like, forever. I have a 2 y/o grandson and he's absolutely car-crazy. The 1940 Willies is my personal dream car. I had all ready purchased a large number of Hot Wheels for him. I bought this one especially for him. I think you all know how well-made and durable Hot Wheels are. And, at the hands of my grandson, they have to put up with a lot of abuse! Heh, heh! If you have any plans to purchase a car for yourself or a little guy, you really can't go wrong with Hot Wheels! I loved them as a kid and I love them still. I enjoy them vicariously through my little golden boy, Caleb. I highly recommend these cars. Just hit "Buy It ... MoreWell, there isn't much to say about Hot Wheels. Collecting, racing, and modifying Hot Wheels is a fun hobby. Most Hot Wheels are still a good value and some, over time, can become sought after collectibles. This hobby is a good therapy for everyday stressors. You can forget having to do all the adult nonsense and just be a kid again. Good clean fun. I highly recommend Hot Wheels and this hobby.
I bought several versions of this Way 2 Fast Hot Wheels twin mill dragster, and I really like 'em all. Everything about these W2Fs is high quality: Fit and finish are flawless. Paint and plating are very good and the tampos/decals look swell. And it is very solid, feeling heavy and durable in hand. In your imagination you'll go "Vroom vroom!!" It's simple: Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
Amazing collection, high quality, works well, excellent for kids and their collector's habits for cars. Showcases a variety of different cars within the same line, to replicate a city like vehicle variation. Highly recommend this collection as a convertible car fanatic !!! Excellent to showcase one's interests in collectible cars.
Great Car. commemorates old nostalgic Gulf Oil Company, begun in 1913...a very recognizable brand, and perfect for merging with another recognizable brand...FORD MUSTANG. Nice collectible, and as it grows scarce; its sure to make this a GREAT VALUE NOW!!
As a life long motorsports participant, official, writer, and Historian, I am particularly interested in collecting all kinds of toy and model racing cars. Having seen the real Supermodifieds in action several times, of course I had to have the Hot Wheels version! The car is well modeled for being a toy, and not badly detailed for being in such a small scale. Beyond that, it runs well on the typical Hot Wheels track having a very low center of gravity as does the real thing. Taller cars tend to roll over on the banked turns unless they are going VERY fast. The Supermodified handles them with ease at all speeds. Launching it is another matter. The hand cranked Hot Wheels Launcher throws it off the track, as does the typical "rubber band" Launcher, though to a lesser ... MoreAs a life long motorsports participant, official, writer, and Historian, I am particularly interested in collecting all kinds of toy and model racing cars. The hand cranked Hot Wheels Launcher throws it off the track, as does the typical "rubber band" Launcher, though to a lesser extent. The Booster doesn't grab the car's sides equally, so a good launch is often erratic. Use this one with a ramp like a Pinewood Derby Car and it's a gem.
Factory 500 hot wheels cars are not premiums. Premiums have metal body and base and rubber tyres. You are wrong Target should be the same price as a basic hot wheels because that is what these cars are a basic hot wheels with the same plastic wheels and plastic base.
This is one sharp car . Awesome stripes. This was absolutely the best packed car I have gotten. The box was a perfect fit. Seller wrapped car in e-bay tissue paper and used a large bubble for cushion. A+++
