Purchased at Ulta. This is the Hourglass veil hydrating skin tint and it is perfect for anyone looking for a light coverage skin product. Ideal for normal/dry skin types since it is hydrating and gives a glowy finish to the skin. You only need a small amount of this product, start small. Skin tints tend to be on the thicker side and look better when you press it in with a beauty blender. This gives a very natural, dewy glow to the skin…doesn’t come off too oily/greasy. Texture- It transitions from a wet-cream, to a balm that sets into a beautiful finish. With that being said I do recommend trying it with your hands(warmth) and finishing with a dense brush or dry sponge if you like, etc.Pros:- Multipurpose: I love wearing it alone for running errands, at the office, or when I want a nice satiny-sheen to my skin.- A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY especially once it's warmed up. I wish there was a 14.5 shade or more shades altogether.- I cannot wear this with powders, only setting sprays(love charlotte tilbury w/ this tint) creams, and other liquids. When set or used with powders, it looks very cakey and creases horribly and I'm not sure why.Cheat code:Although its a water-based product, when I combine it with a smidge of Danessa Myrick's blurring balm, ohh baby its like velcro and sets beautifully plus provides more coverage for all day shennanigans (work to 3rd place to bar and through sweat and tears).I also use Danessa's balm blushes which secretly "mattify" all the places that tend go oil slick on me without changing the skin like effect or finish of the tint itself. Think Tennile Murphy complexion but with all day lasting power! I hope they never change this formula!

Amazing

I absolutely love this skin tint. I have normal, sensitive skin, but can be dry sometimes. I've never used foundation before, since my skin is extremely sensitive. I've been looking for a hydrating but lightweight skin tint/tinted moisturizer for quite a while. This is perfect! It has a beautiful, glowy finish, and it doesn't irritate my skin. If you're looking for something that's full coverage this definitely isn't for you. It covers my acne scars beautifully, but doesn't hide my freckles. (Which I love). I wouldn't recommend blending this with a sponge, I would use your fingers or a brush. My blush and highlighter goes on smoothly on top of this. It's definitely pricey but worth it in my opinion. Beautiful, near-perfect skin tint

This is a really beautiful skin tint from Hourglass. I have dry skin and while I don’t find the formula to be as hydrating as it is marketed as, I do find that it wears very nicely over my usual, highly-hydrated base. When I am properly moisturized, it looks skin-like and naturally luminous. Very my-skin-but-better. It appears more matte if I haven’t followed my usual skincare routine. All in all, the product evens out my complexion beautifully and gives my skin a healthy-looking glow. If I had one critique, it would be that I wish it were more hydrating as a stand-alone complexion product than it actually is. However, take that with a grain of salt as I have extremely dry skin that requires an intensive moisturizing regimen to maintain. Honestly blown away. I have heard good things about this but honestly I was just getting sick of trying to find the perfect skin tint, that I slept on this for a while. I didn’t want to waste $50 or have to deal with a return. I was in my local Sephora looking for another skin tint and they didn’t have my shade. Two associates really pressed me to just try this in the store, and I am SO glad they did. I finally gave in to all the hype and man, the hype on this is real. I loved the Danes myricks yummy skin, but I have combination skin and that stuff was just way way way too dewy for me, even with powder, it also oxidized horribly. Can’t even feel it on the skin. Didn’t settle into anything, INCLUDING my under eyes and my 11s. I am honestly just so blown away 10/10 would recommend. I set it with the Haus labs bio setting powder but I plan on trying the hourglass one which is also talc free.

I received this Veil Hydrating Skin Tint from Hourglass in the shade 6 which is light with cool undertones. I’m so happy that it is a perfect color match! When they say this is vanishing, they mean it. When I tested this on my hand and vanished into my skin, and I had hoped that it would look really good on my face. I am in my early 40s and I have combination skin. I tend to lean towards oily so I really hydrate my face before I put on make up. Because I was testing this product I decided to only use my REN moisturizer instead of my regular routine and applied this with my fingers. I found that for the most part it applied easily, and I used a dry sponge to blend in the rest so I didn’t dilute it. Upon looking through a few spots where I needed to add a little extra to give a little more coverage, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. However, this is something that definitely needs to be set. It was almost to zero effort to apply it and I’m sure with a better primer and a good matte setting spray. This would wear much better. I will continue using this and I will likely repurchase this. If you’re someone that really loves make up but doesn’t want to wear every day but deals with redness this is a great option. I also feel that this formulation is perfect for someone with dry skin.

No Idea How This Product is so Highly Rated

I have no idea how this product receives such rave reviews. It's a moisturizer, and provides zero coverage. It's not makeup. I visited an Ulta store, where I told them what my goals are (light-medium coverage, natural look, friendly to my aging millennial skin, buildable coverage when necessary, etc). Kudos to the associate - They did color match me exactly. However, after using this product myself at home, it literally does nothing. I even purchased the Hourglass setting powder to finish off the look, to no avail. And not only that! Noticeably plump, hydrated skin!

I absolutely love how hydrating this is. After 5-6 hours, when I touch my face, I can still feel plump, hydrated skin. I sampled this several times before purchasing. I ended up with shade 8, which is a little warmer than I would have expected. It gives a bit of warmth and life to my skin, the lighter shades were a little too pale. This has very light coverage. It covers and evens my hyperpigmentation but I still definitely need concealer for any acne marks. I get at least 5-6 hours of wear from it. My skin is normally dry/combo, mature, and I live in a dry climate. The extra hydration fromthis one is obvious and notable compared to any other foundations.
