Love this style dress, I would buy one in every color if I could. The bust is snug but there is a zipper. I am small on the top 34A, 28 in waist and about 41-43 in hips. I would go for a medium if you are this size but they did not have anymore in stock in this pattern.

Little heartbroken and extremely salty that I have to return this dress. Very pretty but the top wouldn’t zip up at all, given this is the largest size they offer I have no choice but to return. I bought the Carina dress from this designer in the same size and that one fits, I had my hopes up that this one would too. Not cool to not be size inclusive 🤷🏼‍♀️

The chest area was very flimsy and made me feel unsupported as an itty bitty. Unfortunately the dress was also received smelling like cigarettes. Sizing is also strange had to get a large so for me it just didn’t work at all. Dress was returned.
The bodice of this dress is so beautifully made, and I love the thick, crisp fabric. It’s a shame that the design is so poor. The size small fit my waist (29inch waist…usually not a size small) but I had a solid 6 inches at the top that wouldn’t close. I sized up to the medium plus cup and it was now too big on my waist, but still 6 inches at the top that wouldn’t close. The cups are bizarrely designed. If you have any movement it’s not going to fit correctly or securely. I’d suggest they make the corset lacing in the back functional to allow for my variance in size where people need it more and that they hide a shelf bra in the front to provide support.
Love this dress! Was well worth the big purchase. Tried most styles of the House of CB dresses for a wedding and landed on this one. Dress fits slightly funny when off the rack however ALL of the ties, even in the front bust area, are purposeful! You have to adjust according to your chest. If you are a full B cup you should be able to fill it out with adjustment. I wore mine with a strapless bra so I could feel more secure and it made the girls GIRL. Other than that, the length of dress would better suit someone that’s approx 5’7, but it looks fine with heels as I am 5’5. Highly recommend.
It has been so hard to find a graduation dress because I have a very small frame but large bust ( size 28H) So I honestly didn’t have much hope for this dress, but it fit like a glove! The material is very thick and not see through, and there’s enough room to wear a strapless bra without it showing. For reference I am 5’6 and I weigh 115 lbs and ordered the small plus cup. (measurements: 36in bust, 24in waist, 36in hip)
Do not buy this dress from Nordstrom. I was sent a counterfeit item. The tag reads House of CB Carmen but it’s a completely different item (please refer to the picture.) I’m afraid they are selling counterfeit items. Be aware!!!
I have wanted this dress for months, and I finally had an excuse to get it! I was a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding this weekend, the perfect occasion to spend a little extra money on a beautiful dress. Now- this dress IS beautiful, I looked amazing with the corset and it fit my body wonderfully. That is, until the reception. After wearing this dress for only 3 hours THE STRAP POPPED OFF. The corset kept the dress on, so we didn't have a disastrous malfunction but the the stitches ripping out really sucked. Luckily we had an emergency sewing kit to toss a couple of stitches in for the remaining pictures. This is unacceptable, I had never worn the dress before and I wasn't doing anything crazy enough to warrant the loss of a strap. Bought this for my upcoming graduation and the fit on this was so unflattering. I don’t even know who even has measurements like that. The chest piece was hanging like 3 inches away from my actual chest. Unless you’re busty, don’t even consider buying it, the fit is so odd.
