If you enjoy the TV show then you are going to really enjoy the game. We played with just 3 people and it worked, although I think some of the games would be more fun with more players. A couple of minor grumbles - first is that there is not a huge number of game cards, and due to the nature of the game once you know the answer to something like the Answer Smash cards you will remember them if they come up again. Second is that the actual cards are small - playing card sized - which means some of the writing is very small. It's a big box and the cards could easily have been made larger. Having said that, we had great fun playing!

We played this on Christmas Day and was enjoyed by all. However, there are very few question cards provided for each round, so very limited in regards to how many times you could play this game without repeating the questions. Also, the writing on the cards is very small so difficult to read especially in some of the rounds where all team players need to view the card at the same time.

Bought as a game to use at Xmas and went down well. Also just been away for a few days and also used a couple of times. Improves knowledge as well. Trouble is when you play quite a few times, you know the answers for future uses

I bought this game for my daughter for Christmas after watching it on tv. Its just as much fun to play at home. Good for all ages and entertaining. If you like the programme then you will like this game too.
Not much variety in the games so rather disappointing for me personally. Love the programme so expectations were high. PerhapsI am expecting too much from the translation into a card game?
Although the TV show is great this format isn't the best adaptation as we worked our way through the bulk of the questions in one game!It would be far better suited to a PlayStation/Xbox format where each player had their own buzzer. The audio/visual capabilities of a digital game opens up far more options for including more of the games that appear on the TV show. There is an existing game for the PS2, Buzz, which includes buzzers which could be adapted I think.The print quality of the cards could have been better as well.
Love the show but unfortunately the game wasn't so good. Some of the games were better/easier than others but some of the answers to the questions were just odd and not like the show so a bit of disappointment.
Really fun game based on the 'House of Games' TV show. Good quality cards. Unfortunately, because there are only a relatively small number of cards you can only play it a handful of times before you've been through all the cards
Bought as a stocking present. Played the game - 4 adults all familiar and fans of the tv series. Not easy to play, all reading the card and fastest slapping their hands down on the timer card. Hard to read card for everyone. Once played, end of game - can't be repeated. We stopped after one full game and played Uno instead - far more enjoyable and repeatable.
As the House of Games was bought for my 10 years old grandson I asked for my daughter's opinion as she shared in the games. She wrote: House of Games is very good and seems to have an infinite number of creative games but it does not translate as well to a board game because it is quite limited in its format as there are not enough question cards. I rate it 3.AS390
