A fantastic speaker that looks good with my decor!

I keep it in my kitchen most of the time, where it fits in nicely with items like my acacia fruit bowl and bamboo serving ware. It has performed brilliantly. It offers a rich, full sound and the bass really keeps the party vibes strong. When I'm alone in the house, I actually listen to classical music and it's done the voices and orchestras credit too. We're running out of hot dry days for this year, but I also see a use case for this speaker on a day trip out of the city in the car. I can imagine taking it to a picnic and enjoying the countryside with my own soundtrack! I look forward to getting a lot of use out of this thing!

Announcer Voice prompt unbearable!

Awesome speaker, we named it bug bassy beeper

I love this speaker I use it all the time, the pictures don't show just how massive it is, the box it came in is absolutely massive and surprised me. It's about 7x14x7 inches (depth, width, height). It's really loud but as always I wish it was louder because I'm crazy with volume. My friend said the front kind of looks like a bug so I decorated it as such and we named it bug bassy beeper. We added a face to it too since we thought it would be quite funny. Some improvements that could be made: -have it work with the house of Marley app where custom equalisers and the ring led be customisable. -could be louder and support higher quality codecs -some LEDs around the large speaker diaphrams that react to music would be really awesome and having different presets for it, ... MoreI love this speaker I use it all the time, the pictures don't show just how massive it is, the box it came in is absolutely massive and surprised me. Bad Speaker
9 December 2022

This speaker is cheaply made and won't last very long with even the lightest use. Firstly, out of the box the charging port is loose. I may get another 10 full charges if I'm lucky before the whole port falls out and into the speaker housing. Secondly, you need an app and adequate charging before you can even pair to this thing. I've never HAD to do this with any other speaker because it's an unnecessary process that just creates confusion and frustration. Lastly, the speaker is NOT loud at all. The bass is severely lacking despite all the woofers on it and the tweeters can not keep up at max volume. Audio starts to distort and the treble changes frequently. Once the bass tone hits, it drowns out any singing or rapping in the music. It realistically sounds like ... MoreThis speaker is cheaply made and won't last very long with even the lightest use. It realistically sounds like there is a volume knob on the speaker and an invisible person keeps turning the dial up and down. You can get much better speakers for even the sale price of $80. Avoid this speaker and get a better deal. You deserve it! Not this hot garbage.

Cute wee speaker, but...
26 March 2022

I've had my Marley Get Together Mini for about four years now, and the good news is that it still works fine most of the time. The USB charger port is a little rough on its connection now, which requires a bit of fiddling sometimes to get the charge light glowing. Unfortunately when charge kicks in, the audio track I'm listening to cuts out and there is a robotic female voice say "Charging". This amounts to a 5 second cut of whatever I'm listening to, so I often have to go back and replay what got cut. This annoyed me from the beginning, but as the battery has degraded over time, requiring more charging, the voice cuts in more often. Robot lady also says, "Powering on", "Powering off" and "Paired". A pity really, I was hoping I could find a hack to remove the voice, ... MoreI've had my Marley Get Together Mini for about four years now, and the good news is that it still works fine most of the time. Get together Speaker
7 November 2022

I had just bought a House of Marley Get together speaker from Best Buy. I read the instructions but it does not indicate how you know when the product is fully charged. The reason I ask is when it shuts off for charging and I plug it in, it shows a solid red light. It stays solid red for a bit then it goes to a flashing red light and remains that way and never shuts off. I have gone online and was unable to find information. I am not sure if there is something wrong with the battery but there is no indication it is fully charged, it just stays flashing red light at the back. I really love this product and the sound if fantastic. It is so portable and that makes it very convenient. I would buy more House of Marley products in the future.

Multi-speaker an impossible nightmare!
31 December 2022

I have purchased three Get Together 2 speakers to have a multi-speaker set up in our home. What a total nightmare. And pretty much impossible to get any support from the people at Marley so far. Unfortunately. We’ve been at this for hours, and hours, yet still are not able to get three speakers to sync. Two will pair (giving us a totally unhelpful left and right channel) but apparently 3 is next to impossible. The funniest bit on the website is this: “Plus, you can seamlessly pair multiple Get Together 2 speakers together for even bigger stereo sound.” Seamlessly! Ha, ha, ha! There are no user-friendly instructions for any problems you may have with setup, nor is there any information ANYWHERE on how to restore these speakers to factory settings. There are no user-friendly instructions for any problems you may have with setup, nor is there any information ANYWHERE on how to restore these speakers to factory settings. Even though I am not sure this would help. The instruction manual is super basic, and the print is so tiny it is pretty much illegible (and I have good eyes). Not bad sounding speakers, although I believe my older Marley Get Together sounds better? If you are thinking of upgrading for the multi-pair/multi-room/party-mode function, just don’t. I am giving the Get Together 2 only 2 stars out of frustration and disappointment in the set up process. If it weren’t for this, it would get 4 stars. I love that they are made with sustainable materials, and are decent speakers for the price, but... Unless I can get some real help with this, these three speakers are being returned, and I will have to look elsewhere.

The most incredible sound! You need these!
8 September 2022

I am fortunate to have a pair of House of Msrley headphones which are the best pair that I have ever owned so I was expecting big things from this speaker. First of all, the brand is amazing. Sustainability is a top priority and the quality reflects this. The sound is insane, music is a big part of my life and being introduced to HOM has made music even more enjoyable. Being able to connect to Bluetooth is a great added addition, I've taken the speaker to the beach, weekend breaks and even down to the bottom of the garden. No matter where I have taken it, the sound is beautiful. It feels like the band is sat beside you, playing. I will be purchasing more of HOM to my collection.

This is so good!
7 August 2022

This is such an amazing speaker. Upon receiving it you just know from the packaging it’s quality. Upon trying it out it connected to my phone very quickly. Upon playing my favourite music genre (Dance Music) I was delighted, the sound quality was so good, it was crisp and clear. At the back of the speaker there is a button which allows you to change between different sound types. My only complaint is the charging cable. It is a usb c connection at both ends and I found it very difficult to find a connection which allowed me to charge the speaker. I had to go and purchase a plug that would fit this on Amazon for a couple of pounds. Overall though, the product is so good, this additional purchase does not impact my review as the speaker is just soo good.

Everything is perfect! From the size to the sound quality! I bought it in store unfortunately so I didn't get the true "Marley experience" but hey I got it slightly faster. The beautiful design is absolutely appealing to the eye. The sound is absolutely crisp at all levels of sound, lows mids and highs are wonderful, the bass is also a huge plus with it's size. The battery life is also a major plus. I just love the fact that most if not all of the material used in this speaker is sustainable in every way(says recyclable but who would ever toss this baby!) I love the fact this brand is keeping Marley alive in our hearts and keeping his love of planet and music alive with their products. It just warms my lil heart.
