Bought this over 6 months ago. The “knitted” material around the cord permanently bends, sliding off and revealing the cable. This happened twice now and as a result one of the earphones doesn’t work.Great battery but… why having a weight on one side only??? This is extremely annoying, I didn’t realise how annoying it would be, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it. You can’t even jog several steps to the bus stop, it pulls the earbud out of your ear … the microphone quality is ridiculously bad… not sure if I was unlucky or is it a standard in this model. I absolutely cannot have a conversation with anyone on these earphones… :( weird design but I could recommend for stationary use rather than going out etc…

I received a pair of these version 2 headphones as a warranty replacement after my Smile Jamaica Wireless version 1 become faulty. The version 1 and 2 sets are very different, even the controls don't work the same, so take a little bit of getting used to. Sometimes they will take a bit long to pair, but not often. One frustrating thing is that they are asymmetrical, the leads are different lengths for each side, which can make them uncomfortable to wear when jogging as the controls dangle from one year. Apart from that they just work, which is good. They are definitely waterproof too!However, after 15 months they now have a loose connection. I can't get a replacement under warranty as it's now >2 years since my original purchase. This is my second pair of these headphones, which is as strong as endorsement as I can really give - I had my first pair for a good few years until the dog got them off the table and chewed on them. I bought exactly the same the second time. Sound quality is great (to an untrained ear at least) and very comfortable to wear. Battery life is great. Would recommend them to anyone.

I bought two pairs of wireless headphones and found it surprising to see that each product was shipped in a separate box. If you have one earpiece in and the other out, expect the earpiece that’s not in your ear to either get pulled to the other side of your head or try to pull the earpiece currently in use out due to that added weight. All that being said, I do really enjoy this product and I plan on making another purchase from this company in the future. I think I’ll just buy another pair of headphones from them the next time around though.
I bought these headphones in Feb 2022 and they lasted only 4 months before the right earphone stopped working. This is my second set- (my first lasted about 2 years before the battery fried). While used frequently, I never took them to the gym, or used them in any 'extreme manner' other than for listening to podcasts while walking around the house. I don't see any physical damage to these new ones, but I'm really upset that they only lasted such a short time. I'll see how I go with returning back via Myer.
Everyone appreciates the colors of these buds. For the low price, the sound from these earbuds is great! The microphone is not great. Sound coming from the microphone is only fair. Okay for making a call if you are out on a bike ride or a jog, but not good enough to make business calls or speak on a Zoom meeting. And the microphone/control panel is way too close to the ear bud. It sits or brushes up on your cheek which can be annoying. I will probably buy a different set from Marley, without the microphone if possible. The little microphone/control pod is just annoying. But it is still good quality for the price, and the colors are great.
I purchased the Smile Jamaica wired earbuds years ago because they came with two sizes. With my very small ears and a few of my ear piercings, other earbuds popped out of my ear and/or caused my inner ear to ache. The way these Jamaica Smile earbuds sit in my ears is perfect and as I'm musically inclined, I appreciate the great sound from these earbuds too. While the original earbuds I purchases still work just as great as day 1, this time I purchased the wireless version and I love them just the same. For the price, sound quality, and sizing options you can't get anything better.

Moving around without adjusting it every 10 seconds is just not an option. The bluetooth range is also extremely strange. Phone in my pocket, bending down to do some work, (i generaly wear these while working) and the sound cuts out and goes robotic. Saying that, it has come undone on me once, so still need to be careful.FUNCTIONALITY: One of the most annoying things about 1.0 is that the button to turn on/off is the same button to talk to Siri (on an iPhone). Every time I turned off the headphones, it would simeoultaneously trigger Siri, but if I wasn't connected to internet, my iPhone would scream through the speaker (annoying everyone in earshot) "Siri unavailable you are not connected to internet" on repeat until I could manually switch it off my phone. Thankfully, 2.0 doesn't do that. I don't know if there's a different way to trigger Siri on them, I've not bothered to investigate since I don't want Siri in my life.Another nice feature in 2.0 is there's a low battery pre-recorded audio warning when you have about 20min of battery left. This is great, since the 1.0 had no warning and would just die unexpectedly.BATTERY: I've not done practical tests of the battery, but the website specs says 2.0 has an extra hour of battery life.Overall, they both have great 'true' audio quality (not too bassy, not too tinny, no noise-cancelling) at a very reasonable pricepoint. Great for mid-range users who want a certain degree of quality but aren't willing to spend top dollar on the absolute best sound. Great for cyclists, if a call comes through on the bike you can easily answer with one click instead of having to navigate traffic to pull over and answer the phone. Overall, the added features on 2.0 make it the winner for me, but some people might just prefer the neckband on 1.0. Can't go wrong either way.
