I bought these headphones about a week ago. I have had standard wired Marley earphones in the past, which I found to be great (robust, good sound quality, and made from natural materials). I decided to buy these ones as standard earphones aren't great for running. Well turns out, neither are these ones. OK, they hold on a bit longer before falling out of your ear. I never managed to get them to seal properly within my ear and they always felt relatively loose. This meant I was constantly trying to adjust them whilst jogging. Whilst at home or on my bike, I resorted back to my old standard earphones as they were a lot comfier. I really wanted these headphones for exercise mainly, as I've have other wireless headphone in the past but they were heavy and bulky, so these are perfect for use while exercising as they are lightweight and small. The pouch they come with is super handy to keep the headphones and charger together, and means you can just chuck them in your bag without them getting lost and tangled up. I also really liked that they came with different size ear buds, as I find in-ear headphones start to hurt after a while, but these ones are really comfortableI would say that the instructions were not easy to understand at all. The first time I set them it took me about half an hour, and it was quite confusing. So they aren't the most user friendly headphones.I found the sound quality good and the controls on the headphones also were really handy and worked well.Although I like these headphones, I feel the confusing set up due to lack of instructions and that they are not that simple to connect would stop me recommending to a friend.

I got these for my birthday and September and really gave them the benefit of the doubt. I've loved everything I've gotten previously from the company, so I really don't know what went wrong. First of all, they fall out of my ears so easily. I use these for running as well as daily use, and the pieces are just so flexible that they slip right off. Another complaint is that they are super quiet, which isn't ideal. The max volume level works fine for regular use, but if I need to focus/drown things out, they don't work well at all. As other people have pointed out, the microphone is also pretty poor quality, and I can't use it to make phone calls. Good company with other good products, but this one just doesn't hit the mark.

Good materials Poor Design
29 September 2021

Just bought these earbuds for running (1-3 hours), to upgrade from a good quality Chinese one that I have been using for the last 3 years. To be fair the quality of materials is good. The downside is that the build of Uprise is so low that gets me so frustrated. First and most, the part that holds around the ear is removable and comes so easily and does make any sense, It's like there were zero trials to production. I have had this for a week and I'm so lucky I haven't lost any part while running. The microphone and buttons position does help at all for running and the microphone is not good enough to make calls. On my previous earbuds, the microphone was next to speakers at the ear, and I could easily speak without additional effort to shout. If I compare it to my previous earbuds which cost $20, the uprise shouldn't be retailing more than $30 and still, this would be a little expensive. So frustrating..I cannot believe I paid this amount of money for this quality.

Good overall product.
24 August 2018

I received the House of Marley Uprise bluetooth headphones a few weeks ago and have used them for both day to day life and running, listening to a range of music and podcasts. To the untrained ear I found the overall sound quality good. The only issue I have found so far with the earphones is whilst running. There are a few niggling issues, especially when first wearing them to find the comfortable support so they do not fall out. The control bar is quite heavy so it can pull the earphones unevenly but once I played around with the clasp for cable this became a lot more comfortable. I general don't like wearing 'hanger' hooks over my ears whilst running but I found these were required so they would stay in my ear for a solid length of time. High style, rich sounds, guiltlessly
13 November 2019

I’m really loving these Uprise Bluetooth Earbuds by The House if Marley. They combine style, mechanics, and a clean conscience, to make me a very satisfied user.First, the sound. I’d say, music and media wise, they are flawless. Rich sound, full bodied, capturing both high and low registers. They quality of sound dips slightly on phone calls, but only just. The function buttons take minutes to learn and get used to, combining mostly single and double clicks, or long depressions to select and adjust volume, change tracks, etc.I’ve found them to be comfortable in my ears, coming with a variety of sizes from the caps on the buds, to the flaps meant to sit inside your ear. Speaking of, I’m not sure what they are called, but I love these little turquoise marvels. ... MoreI’m really loving these Uprise Bluetooth Earbuds by The House if Marley. Speaking of, I’m not sure what they are called, but I love these little turquoise marvels. They slide into the fold of your ears to keep the earbuds snuggly seared inside your ear canal. With three size options, it’s likely you’ll find a fit. They are water resistant, and they ride snuggly while working up a decent sweat while exercising.Another minor quibble I have is with the over the ear holders. They work well, and are comfortable, but they aren’t tightly fitted to the earbuds itself, and they come off quite easily (when not in your ear, I mean.). When worn they are great, but while in your hand, or a table, they seem to find a way to slip away. So far I haven’t lost them, but I won’t be surprised when I do.Lastly, if you are an environmentally conscience shopper, these earbud are a great, guiltless alternative...and they look absolutely gorgeous. Will recommend.

I cannot believe it they are still selling this
7 July 2023

I've used them after a year out of necessity and still are the worst earbuds I had. Then I wondered if they still selling this product and here I am. I cannot believe they are still selling this product to consumers. No value for a lot of money. I don't know if they did any upgrades to be honest but looks the same, and if they did upgrade they should have changed the model name at least.

Nice sound!

The Uprise wireless bluetooth earbuds are really nice and eye catching. I got it in the color teal and the color is so beautiful and really pops! I like that there are specks within the teal color. Its a nice added touch. I love using these wireless bluetooth earbuds for my morning and evening runs. They are super easy to pair and it can be done within seconds so that you can start to use the earbuds right away. While running, I tend to sweat, these are sweatproof and water resistant which is great because I run rain or shine! These earbuds are awesome because while running they don't get tangled up. I even used them at the gym and didn't have any issue with them getting tangled in equipment or my hair/clothes.I like that this comes with different ear hangers. ... MoreThe Uprise wireless bluetooth earbuds are really nice and eye catching. Poor ergonomic design, bad sound and cheap material
2 November 2022

My dad had these for over a year now but could never properly use them and kept on complaining about poor ergonomic design and fitting. He was also mentioned the poor sound quality and lack of balance between the buds.I've owned numerous wired and wireless earbuds from brands like UE, Sennheiser, Shure, Samsung, Apple and Bose so I had to try these to understand what he's all about.I wanted to specifically compare them to the Bose Soundsport wireless which I own due to the similarity in form factor and intended use.Bottom line- these are the absolutely worst earbuds in all parameters(ergonomy, sound, material) I ever came across in my life.

Sound quality not very good
5 March 2023

Very little base, volume level not loud enough. Tried to listen to a movie on my iPad on a recent flight and found it impossible to hear without holding them into my ear with my fingers. I’ve tried all three cushions that were supplied with the product with no success. Bought because they were different looking than all the others on the market, but would not purchase again.
