I ordered through Wal-Mart.com, but the Chromebook was sold by another company. Ordering from Wal-Mart was my first mistake, and ordering from a random company was my second mistake, but I was desperate. Some webpages won't open because the Chromebook won't allow me to update the browser.I would not recommend you buy anything used from the company that sold the Chromebook because there is no guarantee it will be fully functional. The only reason they got 2 stars was because I can done most of what I need to using a combo of my phone and the Chromebook.

i bought thus thinking ok its refurbished, but it looked beand new! so i bought them for my 2 sons and was so excited cause i didnt have much money and fibally bought them 2 laptops! wwll guess what! you cant update the cheomebook, there fore you cant download anything. only thing you can do is go to certain websites and your lucky if uou get to do this. i was absolutely furious and honestly think i should be given my money back in full for the heart break and anguish it caused my children and now im going to be out more money to buy the. new ones since they reallt stuck ir to me with these REFURBISHED NEW CHEOMEBOOKS!

It works as good as you'd expect from a low end chromebook, definitely used though. Minor scratches all over, dropped on at Chromebook, two corners, and has a large annoying scuffmark in the middle of the screen.But my real problem is that it was FILTHY! Up arrival you could tell it wasn't cleaned prior to packaging what so ever. Fingerprints, sticky spots, and crumbs. Used a good amount of disinfectant to clean it, but I'm still finding crumbs and food in the keyboard. Ew.

We purchased this computer for our Grandson who needs one for schoolwork. We didn’t realize he was having to go into 1st period before school began and do his homework before class started. The school was getting in touch with my daughter to tell her on occasion that he had not turned in his homework and received less than a good grade. She would tell me and I would tell her to allow him to come to our house to drop his homework and she’d give some kind of reason why he couldn’t whereby I would tell her it’s ridiculous for him not trying to help himself. The surprise we got without our realizing it was that one of the benefits was it had a touchscreen. I liked the amount of RAM storage and the amount of internal storage. The size was perfect and it had a protective case that comes with it. It also comes with Microsoft Office 365 for a six month period of time. For $249.00 this computer was matched with Chromebook just as he needed for his schoolwork.When we got it, he couldn’t believe the quality, the looks, the benefits and programs it came with. Now we have to get him a printer and he’ll be set until he graduates. Thanks WalMart for having this new computer for sale online. Once again WalMart comes through with quality merchandise, great price with the benefits we needed.
First chrome book I've had. It’s not powerful but it's $49, way more powerful than anything else you could get for that price. It’s an out-of-date model, which means it won’t upgrade to newer versions of Chrome. BUT it works great remote controlling my windows workstation via chrome remote desktop. I'm a Chromebook fan. I have several Windows laptops but usually use a Chromebook throughout the day. It simply does everything I need a laptop to do without the slow boot-up and frequent update downloads of Win., some of which have been defective.This HP machine is virtually identical to my usual unit. I bought it because the old one's screen is beginning to flicker intermittently.The reconditioned laptop arrived in excellent condition and is thus far functioning well. The reduced price made it an obvious choice. The speakers are important to me, too, and they're good.
within the last 24 days I've ordered then had to reorder a laptop.the first laptop was faulty and wrong specs. sent it back. About 5 days later I ordered another laptop. it was the wrong screen size, wrong specs and now have to take time to send it back and wait for the refund. I had a Job lined up when my laptop arrived. This is my 3rd Chromebook in about 15 years, and this one is great! I got it for a steal on a Black Friday deal, and I'm really glad I got it. I mostly just use it to do live broadcasts (although I recommend using an external webcam if this is your intention), check my email, browse Reddit, and other basics like ordering stuff on Amazon and it's perfect for this level of use. It's a LOT more bang for your buck than even the cheapest of tablets, but you can do a ton more with it. Unless you're pouring over legal briefs all day and night or something else where you need the whole spectrum of Microsoft Office tools, or if you're a graphic designer that needs to Photoshop a bunch of stuff, I say Chromebooks all the way! If your thinking about trying to save money buying used like i did DON’T . Lesson learned absolute garbage. First off the thing would only work when it was stationary. If you tried to move it over 2 inches it would freeze and i would have to shut down the computer and restart it . Dont even try to use it on your lap or on the couch it couldn’t be moved or it would freeze. So i have had this garbage for 20 days now and it is already dead wont turn on at all. Waste of money. I was honestly fine with it being stationary as I mostly used it to watch youtube videos. But i mean this quality was trash i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and waited long enough to leave a honest review. Who ever refurbished this computer should be in jail .
I've had this chromebook for well over a year now, purchased last March. didn't come with any marks or scuffs, was spotless actually. I use it moderate to heavy pretty much every other day since purchasing for youtube, google docs/microsoft, educational platforms, email, social media, all the necessities and basics. it works fine with multiple tabs and programs open and the volume is loud. some keys, especially the space key, has stuck a few times since then. it unsticks on its own after a few days, nothing too noticeable honestly. it doesn't get updates anymore so a lot of the features and especially chrome is outdated, but usable. I've also been using the same charger I got with it this entire time and it still works fine. Connects well to a usb mouse. Battery ... Only thing I can say that bothers me is that it doesn't connect well to bluetooth headphones, have to use wired.
