Did not know what to expect really, was not even sure what this was. Put it in the machine, and expected the copies to be much darker and crisper. Turned out better for sure, but not the huge difference we were looking for. If it helps the toner cartridge last longer it will be worth the cost. If not, we will find a better copier.

Salesman was great. Was over the top in helpingme. No ink in stock in store. Salesman made sure I received it @ my home the next day. . . and that'swhat happened! Now, that's customer service!
The quality of print was progressively getting worse, with black smudges on the side of our printouts. We cleaned it, changed the ink cartridge, nothing worked. Finally we tried changing the drum cartridge and that did the trick! Printing like brand new (so far). Hopes it gives us two years of smudge free printing like the original one did.
Works great however I have yet to see whether it extends the life of the toner as we use alot of toner and theoretically it should save money over the long run. For now its 4/5. Seeing will be believing. If i buy again then that will make it a 5
Our old drum was spraying ink all over the documents. I tried an aftermarket brand and it only helped a little, so I sent it back. I bit the bullet and paid the much higher price for the original HP drum and it was worth it.
After buying this HP 32 A drum unit, the problem of each printed paper's right side is not clear with dark image is solved. Very happy to buy it during the period of 30 % reward back by using office depot's coupon code. Very good quality and deal!
It's annoying a drum unit is needed for this printer, and it's even more annoying how expensive the drum unit costs. I also use my drum unit about triple the amount of time "recommended" by the printer, and it always keeps working fine. That said, the drum unit works well and as intended.
I thought I was ordering ink, but it was something else that I did not need but had already installed by the someone helped me understand. Your site was not clear that the thing looking like an ink cartridge was not that. So I was out $100 + tax because of confusion. I've used HP for many years and never had this sort of thing to deal with. Your site did not make it clear. I'm not happy.
