My printer ran out of ink and the store didn't have any (AGAIN!), so I bought a new printer that came with some and ordered this ink online. I got HP XL cartridges because I had a big project coming up. The black ink cartridge arrived defective. The website says the fastest way to return it is to take it back to any Walmart. That's what I did... but what the website does not say is that because the ink came from a 3rd party seller, the Walmart I returned it to had to send it that 3rd party before I could be refunded, and the machine they used to process the return to 3rd party sellers was broken. After standing in the returns line for 45 minutes, I was told to leave and go to a different Walmart in another town! And they had no HP 67 ink in stock at all. I wasted so much time and money on driving around and standing in lines at stores. The insanity of it all!

Keep your receipts when buying HP printer cartridges!!!Bought a set of lack and color cartridges when I first bought my new HP 6000 printer. After I ran the cartridges dry that came with the printer I installed the ones that I'd purchased at Walmart. Everything on the packaging told me they were an HP product. When I installed the new cartridges they would not work! After discussions with HP Tech Support, I found out these were HP products but they were also labeled Instant Print. If you are not signed up with HPs ridiculous Instant InkProgram, these cartridges WILL NOT WORK.Make sure the cartridges you buy do NOT have Instant Ink on the label. The box they came in did not indicate that.

I bought a new HP printer/scanner/copier in February of this year strictly for printing legal documents that I’d recently been drug into. I was told by salesman that I should get 250 black and white copies from this cartridge. I am now on the 7th in September. I’ve counted I’m getting around 120 copies. In my most recent trip for another cartridge I asked the girl behind the counter how many she thinks I should get. She states she doesn’t know off top of her head so uses her phone to look it up. She tells me nearly 400 copies! I ask why I’m barely breaking 100 and she says I can come in one of three days a week and bring my printer to have a tech look at it… it’s 6mo old, it prints just fine other than burns ink compared to all estimates. Seems I was lied to when I ... MoreI bought a new HP printer/scanner/copier in February of this year strictly for printing legal documents that I’d recently been drug into. This printer/ink is super easy to setup and use. BUT… it doesn’t print as much as I thought it would and it runs out quickly. Also, it dries if not used within a time limit. Meaning… the ink needle WILL DRY OUT & if you left it in your printer unused for quite sometime, it will dry out and NOT PRINT REGARDLESS HOW MUCH TIMES YOU TRY TO PRINT TO GET THE INK STARTED AGAIN.So, once you open and use, you should be sure to use it constantly with in the next month or so. Otherwise it will waste. I’ve wasted several cartridges & when I went back into office max to ask what can I do, associate suggested I buy a new one and use it more frequently. (Hmph!) The cartridge was still full and heavy so you could tell that it wasn’t used up at all. Just the needle dried and I ... MoreThis printer/ink is super easy to setup and use. So now I know… I most definitely DONT BUY OR OPEN THE INK UNLESS I ABSOLUTELY NEED IT!Oh and the XL prints more than a 100 phs depending what you are printing too and quality of the printing.
I installed a 67XL Black cartridge purchased at Best Buy when my regular 67 Black cartridge ran out of ink. However, even with the new cartridge paper spit out was blank. After 90' of trying a boatload of suggestions - clean printer head, shut down, and turn on the printer I still got white sheets with no document printed. Finally, I thought could it be possible that the brand new 67XL was faulty? Well, it was. Put in a second 67XL Black and the printing was fine. Apparently, I bought a cartridge that was already bad!
I go through these cartridges very quickly, so this time I was looking for the combined 67XL in color and black 67XL; it was not available so I had to purchase then separately which amounted to a higher purchase price.I feel that they are quite expensive to begin with. Also, I turned in used ink cartridges and was informed that the $3.00refund that used to be subtracted from my new ink purchases could not be used, but only if I showed up next time.It is not that easy for me to come in, so in justice I would ask you to look into this.As to the plastic protector sheets, I could not find a large packet of just the regular ones and ended up getting the $5.00 something price and there were only 10 in the pack.It was a bit frustrating for me considering all the ... MoreI go through these cartridges very quickly, so this time I was looking for the combined 67XL in color and black 67XL; it was not available so I had to purchase then separately which amounted to a higher purchase price.I feel that they are quite expensive to begin with. Also, I turned in used ink cartridges and was informed that the $3.00refund that used to be subtracted from my new ink purchases could not be used, but only if I showed up next time.It is not that easy for me to come in, so in justice I would ask you to look into this.As to the plastic protector sheets, I could not find a large packet of just the regular ones and ended up getting the $5.00 something price and there were only 10 in the pack.It was a bit frustrating for me considering all the above.May I ask your consideration for future customers?Sincerely, Marylyn Vogt
I purchsed two black XL cartridges in November and installed them. The first one ink level dropped to below 20% yet I hadn't even printed 50 copies and had maybe printed one color page. The second black XL I installed a week or so later, I printed 3 black and white documents for a total of about 45 pages, and up to then had only printed about 10 black and white pages and maybe two or three color pages, yet again, the ink level was showing to be 20% or less. I always have purchased BLack and the TRi Color HP67 cartridges because they are supposed to be long lasting, but these two black cartridges didn't even give me 100 pages before dropping their ink levels to around 20% I am seriously rethinking whether to buy another printer brand and make it a laser printer ... MoreI purchsed two black XL cartridges in November and installed them. Bought a new Hp 2752e printer last year. Its been sitting on the shelf because the job I bought it for didn't pan out but I figured something would come along and I'd still need a legal-size printer. Early November said job came along. Set it up, and printing minimal use color (12 - 4x6 images) on legal paper with the rest of the report I got 20 pages out of the starter cartridges. Oh well I thought...they were starters. Went in and bought a 67 XL combo pack. Got 20 pages out of that color cartridge. Went back in and bought a 67XL color. Got 38 pages out of that one. Now mind you that 80% of the printing on these reports are black so one would expect a color cartridge to last quite a while. Notice I said 38...last 2 pages the color was going again and the last page ... MoreBought a new Hp 2752e printer last year. Notice I said 38...last 2 pages the color was going again and the last page the black started to go. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. Considering I get several reams out of a 62XL in my 5540 ENVY (both printers set to draft quality) for my next print job this large (80-100 pages) its probably cheaper to have OD just print it for me as opposed to $100 worth of ink.
print quality is TERRIBLE! We have an HP printer which requires 67 ink; bought a 3 pack of 67XL black. The printing sucks... it's not really readable. I'd attach an image if I could - it's as though there's almost no ink in the cartridge. I tried their troubleshooting recommendations (right there you know there's a problem - why do you need steps to remedy your problems with a new ink cartridge?) - including holding a damp towel to the cartridge to make sure it isn't clogged or dried out (resulted in a lot of ink leaking onto the towel), flipping the cartridge to remedy storage issues, cleaning print heads, etc. Nothing works. Total waste of money. DON'T buy these!
