Adding the printer to my other computers and mobile devices on the network is also a breeze. The print result is good despite the fact that it has maximum resolution of 600x600, the texts are clear and no smudges. I found that waking the printer up to print a document sent via wireless takes a little time but once the printer is awake, the print speed is very fast.I found that the HP Scan software takes quite a bit time to load but the UI is clean and easy to use. Also, ADF scan limits to 300 dpi despite the fact it supports 600 dpi (flatbed).Overall, the printer is great for small home office or personal use. Considering the price, it is great device that packed many great features you found in more expensive models but in a very compact form factor.

This is a no frills basic multifunctional monotone laser printer that is very compact and takes up little desk space. It achieves this partly because the monotone lcd screen is basic and minimal. I was initially disappointed because first impressions give you a flimsy feel as the paper feeder and lcd screen is paper thin attachment the bulk of the printer. IT does not feel like solid construction. Even the printed product comes out at a higher level supported by a flimsy flipout. The paper loader is not heavy duty and cannot hold a full package of printer paper. The install process was not smooth and requires a computer to setup which seemed out of touch in 2024. However, once I got over these initial gripes, I realized that there is a reason for these design decisions. The printer itself is light, and fully multifunctional. Capable of stack scanning, copying, dual sided printing/scanning and the flimsy foldouts can be folded in to decrease space utilized. Actually using the printer was flawless and print speed is fast. Flatbed scanning was frustrating because the cover mechanism has no built in resistance, so you have to open the top all the way over past 90 degrees to get it to stay open, there is no way to open it say 30 degrees and have it stay open for you to slide something in. This minor design flaw is actually quite important in your day to day use. I think if you need an all in one machine and want it to take up as little space as possible then this is a good unit for you. If you want something impressive, comprehensive, and you use scanning/copying often, I would opt for a more quality option. The black and wide lcd screen is absolutely useless.

The design is nice and compact for the most part. Overall looks great in my office. I have it set up on a temporary table for now, until I can find a permanent position. Setup is straightforward, and the wireless connectivity with the HP smart app was quick to set up. Just connect to Wi-Fi and download the latest update. I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Printed a test page and a couple other documents I've been holding off on, until I could write this review. I was also able to successfully print from both my iPhone, MacBook, and Mac Mini. Printing quality is great; crisp text and sharp images. I printed a bunch of documents from work and school and it seems to meet its advertised PPM count. I was glad to see double sided printing as an option, to save on paper. Most printers don't have that function. Same with the scanning options. As you know, converting photos to images with your software is not always ideal. So I was glad to see a tray for scanning standard sized documents, as well as the option for regular face-down scanning. I do a lot of receipt scanning for tax and work purposes and having this option allows you to straighten out the documents much easier and obtain the finer details. Both scanner functions work well, and provide clear digital copies. The control panel interface itself is a little basic, but works as described. I wasn't expecting much from the display on the unit itself. I did not like the prompts for signing up for HP Instant Ink in the app. I thought the cost per month was a little excessive. Maybe I'll try it in the future, depending on what I find out there for just the replacement cartridges.Overall, the LaserJet MFP M234sdw is solid all-in-one printer. It seems well built, reliable, and efficient. This will be my daily printer and scanner for my home office going forward, with the occasional school documents for my kids. Time will tell if the printing solution is cost-effective, but it being a laserjet does help in this case. All in all, this printer seems like a great home and small business solution.

If you are a looking for a one stop pro Black/White printer solution for your small business needs, this is it! It has amazing printing speeds and wifi connectivity features that will make your life easier. My HP LaserJet M234sdw printer was a breeze to setup and use. I like really like the build quality as it looks really nice on our station. The print speed is quick and consistent with more than 20 pages per minute; more importantly we didn’t have any ink smudges and paper print quality looks and feels amazing. We had a print job of over 300 pages and it was able to handle it without an issue or taking a break. The Setup was super simple and easy. The HP app was great as we it guided us through the entire process. The rest of the setup was pretty intuitive and self-explanatory. I highly recommend getting the HP Instant Ink service as we got two month free and the toner rates seemed comparable to other off label toners especially when to signup for higher print page tiers.I love that It is also able to print thick stock papers which makes it a breeze for printing posters. I also love the fact that we can scan directly to phone as previously I needed to install desktop software to do that. It also has a mobile fax feature which can be setup on HP's account and auto prints as fax's come in. If I really need to get nitty picky, I wish they have the control screen on the printer rather than the paper tray. The paper tray had a wobbly tendency so when you touch the scan button, it wouldn’t always recognize the first time, having a touchscreen I feel like would have been better. But also think about it, being an office printer, I have been able to use the printer with gloves on, which I think wouldn’t have been possible with a touch screen. Other than this minor inconvinence, this is an excellent printer.Overall, we are really satisfied with the printer and love the speed along with the HP app to keep the printer secure along with some of the scanning features. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for high speed high quality printing solution.

In less than a minute, the document was finished and I saw that the printer had printed on both sides of the paper by default. I knew this setting would be simple to change but it also amazed me on how fast the print job was completed, considering that the printer printed on both sides of the paper! The print quality was excellent, with both text and images were crisp and clean.I've been using this printer daily, for almost two weeks and it's impressed me so much that it's replaced my old trusty HP OfficeJet, that I donated. I'm happy with the purchase of this printer and highly recommend this product.
Very first thing you will notice about this AIO is how compact and light weight it is. It is truly a fit for executive office looking sleek!Setup - Setup could have been slightly better but it was uneventful. This printer prints lightning fast when printing several sheets compared to my old inkjet printer and the print quality was amazing with a crystal clear text print high quality resolution. It was also able to connect and print from multiples devices, Android phone, iphone, Windows 10/11, pads, Fire tablets without any issue. That's a major plus considering its ability to connect to multiple devices seamlessly. I really applaud HP for this.My only wish is that it could print color pages like my old inkjet printer. But that's not this printer's issue as this model is only monochrome and I knew that before buying.Overall, I am impressed with this printer and recommend to anyone looking for a fast and high quality printer.
I had a Brother multifunctional monochrome laser printer before which served me very well for many years. For this review, I will compare this HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw printer with my old Brother printer, along with its pros and cons. The HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw printer is a great small home-office solution (print, scan, copy) for daily needs. The setup was a breeze via the HP Smart app which I had to download for every device that needed access to this printer. The App guided me through the entire setup which took about less than 5 minutes. One thing to note: to see printer on your device, your device(s) needed to be in the same network as your printer (for example, I couldn’t see/find HP printer using Guest network of my Main network). I tested the printer with few pages for printing and scanning. Print quality for both printing and scanning seemed to be superior and faster than my previous Brother laser printer. Also, I felt that the sound of printing pages is few decibels quieter on the HP Laser printer than the Brother one. If I had to nitpick a caveat or two, I would say, unlike Brother printer, this HP printer does not go to sleep when not in use; it always remains on; and also, the tray can only accommodate 150 sheets of paper.Overall, HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw is a highly capable one-stop solution for home school or office. It replaced my Brother printer with ease and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Over the years I've owned many printers, but this was my first HP LaserJet. It was well-packaged, and I could easily remove it from the box without help. I placed it on a small table in the corner, and got to setting it up. The set-up process was incredibly easy. Using the built-in buttons on the printer, I was able to switch into wireless setup mode. I downloaded the HP Smart App from the windows store, and the software quickly found the new LaserJet. My windows desktop was able to supply the wifi password directly to the printer, with a single button click, and from there, the printer drivers installed. Within a few minutes I was able to see the ink level displayed (full), and I was ready to go. So far I have printed several legal briefs, and scanned them back in with my handwritten notes using the auto document feeder. The text has been super sharp when printed, and when scanned. We have also done some test prints from our mobile devices (email attachments), and they too came out super quickly. It really is awesome how everything just 'works.' I appreciate the ability to connect via AirPrint or direct Wifi as we have a mixture of devices in the house. This way, everyone can enjoy the benefits of our new LaserJet. I hope to try out the scan-to-email functionality soon. It looks like a powerful feature that will save us even more time in the future. I highly suggest picking this HP LaserJet up. Five stars.
This is a compact, sturdy printer, easily fits on my small desk beside computer. The instructions are 4 steps, very easy. You simply plug in cord ,attach the plastic paper cover shield, install the HP software from the provided website, and connect the printer to your wi-fi. Simple as that. The only issue I had was looking up what my Wi-Fi password was, then I realized it is written on the router itself so solved that quickly. I have never tried a laser jet printer before, but I am glad I did because the speed of printing compared to my old printer is outstanding, very fast with great quality in the print. The directions are simple and straight forward, simply four steps, and just the power chord is all you need to plug in to get this printer started. As for the toner, the printer comes with a pamphlet that has the HP instant ink printing plan which allows you to save up to 50% on toner with the printing plan. I have not tried the plan yet, but will keep that for when the toner needs a refill in the future.
