This has been a fantastic purchase as a self-employed health professional.Beauty screen and keyboard. Just big enough for split screen tasks.Runs quiet and cool with no noticeable loading with any task.Camera is fantastic for video meetings. Speakers are solid. We have a winner IMHO.

An excellent laptop that nearly lives up to its predecessor. This is my second HP Spectre laptop, and it performs better than either the latest Dell XPS and a Lenovo that I tried as alternatives. I was really hoping to stick with a 4k screen, as I work long hours and do notice a difference in character quality between this 2.8k OLED screen and the one I had on my 2019 Spectre, which was 4k OLED.Compared to the Dell, the Spectre has a vastly superior trackpad. It is responsive, quieter as a haptic one than the manual click on the previous version, and after a bit of getting used to functions well.Compared to the Lenovo, the Spectre has a vastly superior keyboard, which like the previous Spectre model rivals the best I have seen on a laptop.Overall, I am ... MoreAn excellent laptop that nearly lives up to its predecessor. I really like the device, its a lot more premium feeling and well made than i even thought. Palm rejection issues are evident with windows devices but ended being only a slight inconvenience ehile taking notes. The rest is better than expected.I had to take it down a star because the pen scratches really easily, and the button for erasing is already stsrted wear down and get scratched. Also i experienced some software bug where windows hello wouldnt work even though the camera is on (i imagine its a windows thing) and bloatware ( McAfee & redundant hp apps), which i find really unfortunate.

Great laptop and performance for the price. However, out of the box the laptop had several blue screen. Took me a while to figure out the issue. Even though all drivers and software were up to date. I'm pretty sure it's one of the security feature that locks the screen when you're away. The blue screen was caused because the computer couldn't wake the screen in time. (had to analyse the minidump file).
I am an independent mobile heavy duty agriculture and construction equipment mechanic and I use a laptop in the office to run my business as well as in the field for time cards, invoicing, service manuals, diagnostic software, reading codes in equipment, etc. It was time to retire my second faithful HP Envy 17" laptop. My second massive 17" HP Envy has been a fantastic machine for the 6 years I've used it but now I was looking for something a little smaller, something a little more portable. My shop/business management software also seems to be a hog on resources somehow and I have a couple virtual machines that I run. My second massive 17" HP Envy has been a fantastic machine for the 6 years I've used it but now I was looking for something a little smaller, something a little more portable. My shop/business management software also seems to be a hog on resources somehow and I have a couple virtual machines that I run. When in the office, I often have email, shop management software, spreadsheets, PDF's and dozens of Chrome tabs open as I look up parts or research suppliers, etc. So I felt I also needed something with a decent amount of multi-tasking computing power. I will add, I'm not a gamer. I don't even play solitaire. With my old Envy's being as good of a machines as they've been, naturally I was looking at the Envy series again. But as I poured through all the different reviews and youtube videos on different laptops, the HP Spectre x360 kept coming up all over the place. That mean's it's popular, not necessarily good, but I have to admit, this little machine looked aesthetically pleasing and it peaked my interest. After a considerable amount of research, I decided to pull the trigger on the HP Spectre and give it a try. I ended up ordering the 14" version with 2 TB hard drive, 32G ram and the Intel Ultra 7 155H processor. From what I gathered, this should be quite the little machine! The Screen:I did settle for a 14" screen, wondering if I would find it to be too small, coming from a 17" screen for the last 8 or so years, but I've found it to be just perfect actually. I don't find the text or wiring diagrams to be too small. The OLED display is unbelievable. It's so crisp, clear and bright. As I write this review, the screen brightness is about 70% here in the office. My old Envy's IPS screen stayed at full brightness 100% of the time - which was enough in the office but in the field, I struggled to see the screen due to it's dimness and the fact that the glossy screen was unbelievably crazy glary (is that even a word?). The 14" Spectre comes with a glossy screen but it has an anti-glare film of some sort and what a difference, this is way better. The Touch Pad:I am new to the Haptic Touch Pad but I love it. The sensitivity is adjustable and the thing works amazing. Palm rejection would be the weak point here for me, I tend to have a lot of accidental mouse clicks when I type, but as compared to the mechanical touch pad on my old Envy, this is still much better. I find the two finger scrolling and the pinch-zoom on the touchpad to be absolutely amazing to navigate quickly through wiring diagrams. I love the touch pad.Portability:In terms of portability, I deffinitely found what I was looking for. This laptop is so small and light (as compared to my 17" Envy) that I just love carrying it around. It sits in the bracket in my service truck cab, or my work table or a 5-gallon pail, or tractor cab, or whatever I want. It's balanced pretty good and doesn't want to tip over despite being very light and thin. I purchased a new, smaller Laptop Bag for this one so I no longer need to lug around with the suitcase of a laptop bag I've been using with my Envy's. I can carry this around in one hand with the screen open and not even think about it, it's almost natural.Keyboard:I do a lot of typing with work orders and emails. The keyboard on the HP Spectre is definitely a step up from the Envy's I've had - and I didn't really have any complaints with those. I don't know what the difference is, but I find the Spectre's keyboard to be more natural and more comfortable to type on. The key's and key-strokes just feel great. Also, I cant stress enough how much I like the dark colored keys with the light colored backlight! The Envy's always have light colored keys with light colored letters/numbers with a light colored backlight. That made it impossible to make out the key labels in some lighting conditions. It's probably my biggest complaint with the Envy series. This Spectre is awesome that way, I can always see the keys in any lighting condition. I do miss my number pad, but this was a compromise I was willing to try, going down to a 14".Ports:This could be considered a down side on the 14" Spectre. With only two USB C ports and one USB A port (and headphone jack which I don't use), there isn't a lot here. However, the world seems to be slowly moving to USB C as some kind of standard for pretty much everything and with PD charging via USB C, the technology is there enough that I've found ways to make it all work pretty easily. However, I do really miss my SD card slot, kind of wishing I at least had a micro SD.Charging:The ability to charge through the USB C ports is a game changer for me. Charging bricks are bulky and a pain to deal with, so for my Envy, I had a dedicated charging brick in my Service Truck, a dedicated charging brick on my desk in the office and a dedicated charging brick for my laptop bag for traveling. The charging brick in the Service Truck required that I had a 120V inverter to run it. I no longer need all this stuff. I now have a weeny little charger and USB C cord in my laptop bag, a 12V cigarette lighter PD charger in my Service truck (that also charges my pone) and I keep the OEM charging brick on my desk. This is a much simpler, more portable setup for me now and the added bonus is pretty much all of my other electronics are also charging through USB C. Also, I have a DeWalt PD charging adapter for my DeWalt power tool batteries, so my DeWalt batteries can charge the laptop wherever I put it on the jobsite if needed. Super convenient, as comparted to plugging in charging bricks and having the length of the power cord determine where your laptop can be positioned on site.Performance:The performance of this little machine is been flawless for me. It has no trouble running many multiples of windows and programs at the same time. When my shop management software IT guys logged in to set up my management software on this new machine, the first thing they do is check the specs. The comment was "Oh wow, this is a really good machine!". It was nice to hear that. To date, I haven't been able to make this machine struggle with anything, and that's exactly what I wanted: just a quick, clean, smooth running laptop. No more delays when switching programs, virtual machines start up and run sooooper quick and the most frustrating / important thing for me: all the glitches, stalls and delays in my shop management software are gone. It now runs nice and smooth along with everything else.I could go on with more, but if you've read this far, that's probably enough. I've been using this machine full-time for just over a month now and I couldn't be more pleased. Not one single glitch to report.
The Laptop after a few weeks of usage is working well. I purchased extended warranty and it wasn't added at the time of delivery. I raised ticket and then only the warranty was added. Its not a very fast machine as i expected but good for the basic routine work where machine speed requirement is moderate.
I recently purchased the HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-eu0010ca - Core™ Ultra 7, Black with Pen and my experience has been a mixed bag.On the positive side, I was able to secure a better deal through an employer discount site, which included a 2-year damage protection plan. This was a pleasant surprise and added value to my purchase. However, the purchasing process was far from smooth. I had to engage in extensive communication with the HP team to get everything sorted. The customer care calls were unnecessarily complicated, being routed from the US to Canada and back again, without any clear explanation. This made the overall purchase experience less than ideal. As for the product itself, it has its pros and cons. The customer care calls were unnecessarily complicated, being routed from the US to Canada and back again, without any clear explanation. This made the overall purchase experience less than ideal. As for the product itself, it has its pros and cons. The laptop was initially introduced with an additional dongle to compensate for the limited number of available ports. However, this dongle was not included in the Canadian batches, which I found quite perplexing. Either the laptop should have sufficient ports, or the dongle should be provided. It’s quite amusing that the original package even has a compartment for the dongle, but it comes without it, giving an impression that it was stolen when you unbox.Adding to this, I also noticed a few more aspects about the laptop. It comes with 2 USB C ports and 1 USB A port, which should ideally provide ample connectivity. However, I was not satisfied with the data transfer rate. It was noticeably slower compared to my previous HP laptop, which was a bit disappointing. The display looks good on the tech specs, and I was able to stream YouTube videos at 4K. However, when it comes to Netflix or Prime, the apps were unable to stream at the Ultra HD or 4K resolution. This was a letdown, considering the high-quality display that this laptop boasts of.On the brighter side, the sound quality is great, which enhances the multimedia experience. The compact and handy size of the laptop is very appealing and appreciable, making it a good choice for those who value portability. One aspect that did give me pause was the cost. The price seemed a bit higher than expected, especially considering that there are laptops from other vendors like Lenovo that are maybe 100-200 CAD cheaper than the deal price. This is something potential buyers might want to consider. In conclusion, while the HP Spectre x360 has its strengths, there are certain areas where it could definitely improve. The slower data transfer rate, the inability to stream certain apps at 4K, and the higher cost were notable drawbacks. However, the sound quality and the compact size are commendable features. I hope this comprehensive feedback proves useful for potential buyers and for HP to make necessary improvements.
I'm really impressed with this computer. The screen is stunning, and the battery life is amazing. I've used it for video editing in Premiere Pro, which was my biggest concern, and it has surpassed my expectations. I've only heard the fans once, and they're nearly silent. The Ultra processor and Arc graphics are really impressive. The only downside is that my wife loves it as much as I do, to the point where I might just have to get another one.
I have upgraded from my last Spectre which I've had for around 7 years. I was wavering between this model and a Macbook Air. Always wanted to try an Apple I guess. Did months of due diligence and found both had advantages and limitations. Both are extremely powerful and excellent laptops. I was swayed by some glaring facts. There appeared to be an issue with multiple monitors and lid closures with the macbook, which was a limitation for my usage. Also the tablet screen and touch options are a bit hard to move away from on the Spectre. As well I actually was able to compare both screens against each other side by side and the HP OLED, I thought was much better.Lastly, and the big one, the previous Spectre has lasted the last 7 years without missing a beat against ... MoreI have upgraded from my last Spectre which I've had for around 7 years. SOLID AS. Cannot fault its durability and quality. It just got technologically old that's all.Really happy with the purchase.
While we know that this is not a gamer-specific laptop since the 14" model doesn't offer a dedicated GPU, the integrated one here is really 2x better than Intel Xe Iris and allows for light-mid gaming which is a plus for when I have a bit of free time. For productivity and development, this laptop is at the top of the food chain right now. The display quality has outstanding output and the processor is more than capable (especially after the BIOS update which was available straight from Windows Update). Of course it is Windows 11 bloatware and telemetry era now but after spending 3 hours thinning it and getting rid of Microsoft's spider web, it is very snappy. For any other HP utilities, you can get them from Microsoft Store. To me, it was a better choice then the 2 other laptop models from other manufacturers competing in that segment and as a plus, it looks slick and professional with still a touch of luxury. I had no problems with it at all since I have it and would easily recommend it.
