I absolutely love my docking stations. Allows me to use my laptop as a CPU with monitors while in my office. It is easy to hook up, does not take up a lot of Space and saves me money from having to buy a desktop computer. Price is right for it as well. Had lots of hookups for monitors and extensions with USB and USB-c. Will always keep a docking station and just have a laptop vs both a desktop and laptop.

This is sooo helpful if you work from home and use more than one monitor like myself. I currently have 2 monitors plus a laptop that I connect to the dock. I love that it’s small because I already have so much on my desk. I clearly use all the extra usb ports that it comes with ( mouse, keyboard and headset). Overall it works great

Great used dock, even for Lenovo Thinkpad

I'm running a lenovo laptop but this generally works great. I'd read some issues with Lenovo's own docks but experienced none of them with this HP model. Though it's not for everyone, I like the "tower" form factor on my desk. Having a semi-built in cord is also go value. Port selection is solid and it handles easily my needs - ethernet, usb ports, usbc-display port monitor. It has an internal fan, but it is reasonably quiet, especially in an office environment. I don't really notice it. The only issues I have with it are the power button only works for HP devices (fair enough) and I wish the Thunderbolt cable came out the back or allowed configuration to keep the desk completely clean. HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W

Product condition is excellent and exactly as described. Product purchased to mimic my office setup and works like a dream. Now I'm pandemicing without skipping a beat. I got a chance to see what life is like without multiple computer screens, and I don't like it. If you are considering buying one of these, don't hesitate. I was willing to pay more to get what I wanted conditionwise. Came in original packaging and appeared relatively untouched. If you can't tell whether you need a 230W or 120W, I'll make it easy for you. If you are working from a laptop, 120W is all you need. 230W won't hurt your setup, but meant for workstations; based on my research.

I had such a hassle getting this working with my laptop. The drivers needed for this dock aren't available on the HP website and I had to have several extended talks with Hp customer service before they relented and helped me out.Once I got it working, it works perfectly!

Not a bad little dock!

It's pretty simple and easy to use. Mostly plug and play. Some units with Audio may malfunction and need the audio module to be reseated for proper functionality. We came from Lenovo docks. The HP ones have a smaller footprint and integrated audio makes things a bit cleaner on the desk. The one drawback I can see is that the power button only works on HP machines (which makes sense, I bet the Lenovo power button only works on Lenovo machines), so with our Lenovo machines, there's a bit of inconvenience to some users. Overall it's been good. The integrated Thunderbolt 3 cable makes it easy for our end users to figure out where it's supposed to go.

Not happy

Display port does not work with my monitor, unable to to update drivers - as it a work laptop and is locked down. TheHdmi works, but l am limited to one monitor and was hoping for two. Will have to see if new laptop will work better. Bought docking port as it is the only approved hardware that I could use with new laptop which I am waiting for :(

Small & Versatile.

Small & versatile. Provides single cable connectivity for almost all of my home connections with plenty of ports remaining. Apple DVD external drive will only work plugged directly into the mac. Researched and it is an Apple thing, not HP. Doesn't come with a manual though so you need to download the pdf to figure out the port details. Even then a little experimentation was required. For example, my USB-C monitor works just fine with the designated USB-C monitor port but the downstream USB-A ports on the monitor don't charge when the computer is sleeping. Plugging it into a different USB-C port on the dock both drives the monitor and provides full time power.

Works like a charm

I have purchased this same item from Amazon and had to return it because it didn’t support my two PCs and mouse with keyboard. I finally decided to buy from your store and it has been working very well with my two large monitors, keyboard and mouse plugged in. I am happy that I decided to give it a second shot at purchasing.
