I was tossing up between this laptop and a 20gb ram general use laptop that had integrated graphics, I got some amazing advice from the staff as my main use was for playing sims and I opted for this gaming computer and am so glad I did! It has leveled up my gaming experience and I am super happy. While the computer has some weight to it, it it's absolute quality. Great gaming laptop at a great price.

A great laptop for both personal use and for work. I am a Quantity Surveyor student running software like Cost X. My old HP was lagging and too slow so I bought this machine. really happy with the purchase as all my software runs smoothly and fast. The only problem I have is that my 6TB western digital connected to my laptop gives I/O error due to USB ports being 3.0 and the hard drive not being compatible. There are no USB 2.0 ports on this laptop. Otherwise happy with the overall performance of the laptop

This laptop has really good specifications for the price I paid on special. The fact at this price it comes with 16 gb of dual channel 3200mHz memory and a 512gb ssd is really good. Plus the 12th gen i5 is a beast, lots of single core performance for gaming, and with the e cores has good multi thread performance too. The gtx1650 is a bit old these days, but for less demanding games is perfect for this laptop, plus the 144hz display is fantastic, although it could be brighter. Overall a fantastic laptop that needs no upgrades and also looks understated for a gaming laptop.

Pros: Lovely specs and runs games smoothly on high fps, also has great graphics. I've been using it for a few weeks and it doesn't get very hot, relatively quiet, and has good sound quality! Would recommend for anyone looking a portable laptop they can game on :) Cons (kind of): The laptop is quite large and heavy although that is a good thing for a sturdy gaming laptop, I don't transport mine very often so it's not really an issue but if you need to take it into university/work everyday I would take the weight and size into account
Works well. I can play games and general computer use is way faster than my old laptop. I have been using this for one month. Pros: -I like the calculator button on the keyboard. -Style looks professional even though it's a gaming laptop. -Runs CS:GO at over 130FPS. Cons: -Fans are a bit loud when gaming, but I don't notice this when I wear my headphones. -A couple of keys have a tiny hole in them that lets backlight through, so it looks like a spot on the key.
I haven't seen one problem with this laptop so far had it for a week. It can run GoW, COD MW2 on medium to high settings without any lag. Nvidia also helps optimise the games to their fullest potential, haven't tested FPS but haven't experienced any lag on high settings so far. I don't play games on running battery that's not expected, for the person that gave this a 1 star. The only drawback is the storage 3 or 4 games and your hard drive is out. Definitely needs a ram and hdd upgrade at some stage.
Bought mine over six months ago and no problems yet (touch wood). Has handled everything I've thrown at it without any issues. Very happy with it. Constructive observations: mouse clicker is unnecessarily noisy. It's portable but reasonably heavy so worth keeping that in mind if you're on the go. I got the RTX3050 for the currently listed price so not sure why the current offering is still on the GTX1650. That said, the staff were pretty good at pointing to the best deal so maybe the website doesn't tell the full story.
Decent build quality, large touch pad the keyboard is nice to use and the screen is decent. Compared to ASUS G731 it's nice and quiet even under cpu load. Great price for the specs, CPU is decent, GPU is decent. Only downside is it's a bit on the heavy side but honestly not by much and if you want to get something lighter it's going to result in higher cost and slower cpu or substantial increase in cost. This is nicely balanced and is my current go-to recommendation for someone who needs a decent laptop. Not sure what that other reviewers problem was but seeing how useless the review was I figured I would give a bit more information.
Value wise, this laptop is good, especially when you get it in Black Friday. I would heavily recommend new gamers or casual workers into this laptop. This laptop has the processor that includes 12 cores and 16 threads, and has proven itself worthy after 3-4 games of Valorant the day after I bought it, with the addition of the wide 15.6 Inch display. However, on the downsides, the computer starts to run out of battery very quickly when I play Spike Rush (Valorant Gamemode) where it would take up nearly 10% every match I play. But even after that downside, I would still recommend it than any other laptop if you were a new gamer. However, if you are someone who basically lives on gaming, this laptop is not suitable for you. An RTX 1650 will not get you a long way, ... MoreValue wise, this laptop is good, especially when you get it in Black Friday. I would heavily recommend new gamers or casual workers into this laptop. An RTX 1650 will not get you a long way, along with the 8gb of ram and the small storage of 256gb. The storage will only be enough for you to fit 2 games and some videos, which will clearly not work out. The 8gb of ram will also make your game's FPS a lot slower when compared to top-tier laptops, such as Alienware. And as I have been using this product for nearly a day, I can definitely say that the keyboard for this laptop is good. So overall, I recommend you to get it if you are just starting gaming or if you are using it casually.
Purchased at the black friday sale so price was perfect. Runs ED on medium setting without any issues. Responsive. Standby battery is great but does work a little harder with frame rate demand. Perfect mid budget laptop.
