I have 4 of these of varying VA ratings. Each one it activated by a 10 amp TP-link wifi smart socket in a IP64 weather proof enclosure under an outdoor verandah. They power a selection of LED MR16 garden lights and on some circuits bud lights. The cabling is minimum 1.5 mm figure 8 in conduit. I don’t exceed 80% of the transformer rating thus allowing for voltage drop and ambient heat in summer. They have been fine. Rock solid. Recommended. Always allow for cabling, distance, possible higher resistance ‘low voltage, non screw, exposed to weather garden light connections’ and heat. Cabling, connections and heat effect loads in electrical circuits.

Rating on transformer is 60 watts. I fitted 10 LED lights rated at 5 watts each (50 watts) and the transformer constantly overheats and switches itself off. Might be OK for say 30 watts but who knows!
