Excellent, compact travel razor.

It's a powerhouse of a compact travel electric razor. It lasts a long time on 2 AA batteries. It's easy to clean. The only down side is no pop-up trimmer but that's too much to expect for the size and price.

Good Travel Shaver

I've had one of these for years, as a travel shaver.The battery life was poor, but I made 2 changes to help that:1 Clean & oil the cutters. After that I can hear it running much faster. Faster means more back emf and less battery drain2 I used the "Lithium AA batteries".The battery life increased from about 4 weeks to over 3 months. I don't know precisely, as I've not had to change batteries since.I also noticed the cut is better than on my Braun rechargeable that I use at home !

Great travel shaver, no case though.

Brilliant shaver, I love it, yes its a travel shaver running on two quality AA battery's, will do many shaves, and two genuine Philips heads too, I used one for years, alas its time to retire it. But I've now found, it no longer comes with a case, How disappointing is that.The shaver does come with a loose plastic cutter head cap, but this doesn't stay on with luggage giggling. So I'm not happy. But the shaver is great.

Lightweight and inexpensive!

On the downside, there is no cleaning brush or carrying case. First impression is that it could do with a more powerful motor but compared to my old foil-type shaver, the shave is good and the machine remarkably quiet. Removeable batteries (2 X 'AA') is good: built-in batteries mean shaver is u/s when batteries die so you won't have this problem and rechargeables are probably a worthwhile investment for frequent use. Overall, I am quite pleased and would recommend if you are looking for something inexpensive with acceptable performance.
